My first skiing experience was so lucky thanks to Mr. Shin! I was a bit nervous at first, but the instructor taught carefully and spoke humorously. He sends a message to notify you the day before the trip, so you don't have to worry at all. If you have trouble choosing ski clothes, it's recommended to pick your favorite color scheme in advance so you don't spend too much time looking around when you get there. The trip departs at 7:00 AM, you change into your snow gear and ski clothes at 9:30 AM, and arrive at the ski resort at 10:00 AM. In reality, teaching, skiing, and eating time is about 4 hours, which I think is plenty. The ski resort facilities are complete, and booking through Klook also gets you access to an exclusive lounge with iced and hot water. In conclusion, my husband and I were very satisfied with this ski trip 👍🏻. Thank you very much, instructor! 😊
Had a blast for today! Celebrated my Birthday with this Tour - Elysian Ski. I availed All-in One Package to avoid extra pay in Rentals. Even thoug, protector pads and knee pads still not included in the All InOne. still saved money because it cost minimal amount. while others need to Rend other Ski suits. Our tour Guide Kilz and Jenny are very awesome and accomodating. Thumbs Up Klook!
Overall, I think it is worth it and it is fun. There are two coaches, one is Emily and the other is Zhu. Both are very friendly. They will explain the precautions of skiing on the bus. First, change into ski clothes and helmets. There are many styles. In addition, protective gear needs to be rented. Skiing requires sports socks or sports headscarves that reach the calf. You can prepare them yourself or buy them there. Then take the bus to the ski resort. You need to wear snowshoes and take ski poles. Then the coach will take you to the beginner area to practice A-shaped and falling methods. The coach will lead you to the slope one by one, and then take the escalator next to it. You need to take the escalator ticket. The coach will first give you the cable car escalator ticket. You need to take a photo first. If you lose it in the ski resort, you need to reissue it so that it is not too expensive. Otherwise, the fee is expensive. After practicing, you can take the cable car to the second beginner slope. Forgot the code. Anyway, don’t take the wrong cable car or you can’t get down. There is a restaurant in the ski resort. You can use the machine to order food and pay with a credit card. You can choose a Chinese credit card. You need to sign the bill after checking out. You can take the beverage on the right side of the bill. The beef soup on the left side is delicious. In addition, basically 3-year-old children go there to play in the snow. They can’t ski because they are too young. I didn’t see any sleds to play with.
This was my second time skiing, and I enjoyed it even more than the first! Our coaches, David and Bob, were amazing—kind, helpful, and great at what they do. (Check out their photos—kyeopta!) Coach David guided us through the basic techniques, making skiing more fun and helping us gain the confidence to try the longer beginner course. We’ll definitely be booking this activity again next winter! 100/10!!
I recently booked my Elysian Ski Resort experience through Klook, and it was an absolute blast! The booking process was seamless, and I received my voucher instantly. The resort itself was amazing - the slopes were well-groomed, and the views of the surrounding mountains were breathtaking. The rental equipment was also in great condition. Klook's instructions on how to redeem my voucher and access the resort were clear and easy to follow. The price was also very competitive compared to booking directly with the resort. The only thing I'd suggest is to plan ahead and arrive early, as the lines for the lifts can get quite long later in the day. Overall, I highly recommend booking Elysian Ski Resort through Klook for a hassle-free and fun skiing experience in Korea!
The kids had a lot of fun skiing and it was a worthwhile day trip. We gathered the tour guide Bob early that morning. He was a Korean and could communicate easily in Chinese. He explained on the bus that it would be cheaper to buy a cable car ticket in advance. It was later confirmed that he must buy it. It is recommended that everyone buy the cable car ticket together when buying the itinerary because this ski resort is very popular. required. However, I would like to remind everyone to bring more cash, because there is a 10% surcharge for paying by credit card. Renting helmets and protective gear also requires a 10% surcharge by swiping a credit card. It is recommended that Klook should indicate in advance that you need to bring cash, otherwise the extra 10% is really a lot. Other than that, Other than that it was a great trip. You can have coffee or hot chocolate at the klook center at the entrance of the ski resort, which is great.
The guide taught us basics of skiing. After about 2 hours, you should be ready to go to the beginner slope. Best to buy the combo with lift ticket (it’s expensive there). Went on a weekend, so it was a bit crowded but it’s okay to go about 5 rounds on the slope (takes less than 2 mins to ski down). Extra cost prices of rental items: Socks were 15k won each, so better bring your own and bring spare, cause the boots are shared (you might wanna throw one and change). Helmet comes with visor for 20k, I’d say mandatory to protect your head. Protective paddings for 15k (butt and knee). Highly recommended for beginners!
The trip is well planned and very fun. My kids love it. The tour guide Mr Shin is very professional and friendly. He speaks good chinese as well and provides detailed training on how to snow ski. He also went out of his way to gave out hand moisturiser to everyone on the way back.
Our guide, Dean, was in a good mood, fun to talk to, and cared about everyone. That day, he spoke both Chinese and English. He gave very good explanations. It was a comfortable trip. Just get yourself there. The tour will prepare everything for you. Dean, the guide, helped with everything and taught us basic techniques. After that, we had a fair amount of time to play snowboarding, about 3 hours. The ski slopes are divided into zones quite well. They may be small, but there weren't many people. I recommend it.
Mr. Shin took care of the group as best as he can. Already gave instructions beforehand in the bus, explained the foot size system for the ski shoes, informed us of what is rented and bought on the ski gear rental shop, taught us the basics of skiing. Kori/Cori/Cory, I can’t remember how to spell his name, Mr. Shin’s partner also assisted us with questions about the ski lodge/facilities. They were also considerate of the current situation of traffic since there was a protest going on and was causing heavy traffic so they informed us of where dropoff is best to avoid the traffic
