Northern Lights Hunt Experience with Lappish Barbecue Tour

Last night, we joined this tour, and our guides Jack and Judith took such wonderful care of our family of four (including two elderly parents over 70)! Jack explained the scientific principles in great detail during the campfire barbecue, while we enjoyed the food, and listened to his stories, the atmosphere was so warm and cozy. What impressed us the most was Jack’s fluency in Mandarin, English, and Cantonese. My parents are Hakka speakers, and he even spoke Hakka with them! He immediately chatted with my parents in our hometown dialect, which made them instantly felt so close and comfortable. Jack also patiently taught us how to photograph the aurora with our phones. Judith also worked hard in the freezing cold to help us take photos. Both Jack and Judith were professional, humorous, attentive, and always put safety and comfort first, making sure the elderly didn’t get too cold or tired.Highly recommended for anyone wanting a memorable aurora adventure with family.

Very good experience for hunting northern light. The weather was super cold. Around -23 degree. But we were lucky to see the northern light and that’s worth everything. The country ski was fun too. I never try skiing before and our coach Yun Yun teach us in patience. Finally I can ski a little and it’s a lot of fun. Thank you

This Northern Lights tour is awesome! As soon as we arrived at the destination, we could see the northern lights, barbecued to offset the chill, and after we were full, we were sent to the airport! Recommended for Northern Lights travelers who are catching a flight early the next morning!

I didn’t get lucky enough to see the full-on Northern Lights, but I’m still so thankful I got to catch even a faint glimpse of them in person.

the tour guide share a lot of Aurora info with us!! the foods were nice too - sausage, marshmarrow and the salmon soup… most important, we get to see our Aurora! they even guide me how to use phone capture the nice Aurora picture!

Aurora hunter Kam was very humorous. On a cold winter night, we listened to stories about reindeer and the Northern Lights, and learned new things about local Lapland culture. He waited for the perfect moment and told us when the aurora appeared, so we could step out of our tents to admire it without freezing in the cold wind. It was a very fulfilling night.

The arrangements and coordination is good, very proactive. 3 guide from the company, James is the coordinator and very helpful. Nanu was the driver, given a brief explanation of how northern lights appear , very helpful also. Another gentlemen can't recall his name Thomas? but is a great photography.. thanks but too bad the never able to see northern light at 2 KP.

The guide services are very good especially for her to depart us at hotel instead of K Supermarket (i.e. original planned departure location. In addition, the view is very beautiful and the food are also yummy.
