Excellent Experience with Beautiful Coral and Great Guides I had a really good experience on this tour, which featured beautiful coral, knowledgeable coaches and guides, and a seamless process. Please note that the entire tour is conducted in Chinese. Our guide, "Tu Dou" (Potato), contacted me the day before via text and email to remind me of the meeting location and offer tips to prevent seasickness. Here's a rough itinerary for the bus tour and snorkeling, as it was initially unclear to me: 7:20 AM: Arrive at Nanhai Visitor Center. Exchange Klook voucher for ferry and bus tickets at the "Jin Ba Da" counter. Meet Potato for further instructions.7:35 AM: Begin boarding the ferry.8:00 AM: Ferry to Qimei departs.9:15 AM: Arrive at Qimei. Meet Potato at the pier and board the bus to a less crowded bathroom.9:30 AM: Short bus ride from the bathroom to the snorkeling spot.Snorkeling Schedule: After a 10-15 minute wait for other tourists (arriving on scooters) and another 15-20 minutes to change into snorkeling gear, the coaches teach you how to use the equipment and then take you to the coral reefs. At the reefs, each coach oversees 8-10 people, who hold onto lifebuoys or each other while the coach guides you through the water. The coral is abundant and beautiful. Coaches take pictures and provide bread to feed the fish.11:30 AM: Bus back to the pier for lunch (my only complaint is that there's not enough time for a substantial meal).12:00 PM: Transfer to a larger tour bus with other tourists, which takes you to Qimei's attractions: Seven Beauties Tomb, Great Stone Lion Recreational Area (try the conch here; it's very delicious), Little Taiwan, and Twin Hearts Stone Weir. Spend 15-30 minutes at each site, which is ample time to explore.2:00 PM: Return to the pier.2:10 PM: Board the ferry.2:20 PM: Ferry departs back to Magong.3:30 PM: Ferry arrives in Magong. If this is your first time snorkeling, you will feel very supported by the coaches. However, if you are already experienced, you might find the coaches' guidance a bit restrictive. Additionally, the bus tour is structured, so you might not feel as free. Next time, I plan to rent scooters for more flexibility.
First of all, the tour guide Tudou was very considerate. He told us and reminded us of the precautions the day before. Because we were going with children, we chose a tour bus for a one-day tour. It was really relaxing and refreshing to take the bus. At noon, we misheard the meeting time and caused the driver and tour guide to look for us along the way. I was really sorry. Sorry, I delayed everyone for 6 minutes. I’m glad I wasn’t abandoned! In addition to introductions in the car, the tour guide and driver also chatted about Qimei's work and life, so that the free time would not be too lonely. It was our first time snorkeling on an outer island and since we couldn't swim, we felt very warm and satisfied. There are also islands Residents pay great attention to marine ecology, and foreign visitors should learn more. In short, except for the hot sun, everything else is very satisfying 😊Highly recommended
Qimei Island boasts beautiful scenery and numerous famous tourist attractions. I truly feel that taking a tour bus is comfortable and safe. The driver provides free guided tours of Twin Heart Stone Weir, Little Taiwan, and the Dak Shyr Long Cheng scenic area. Additionally, the Yuehli Bay diving experience is fantastic, with professional and attentive instructors. The children had a blast and were extremely happy.
Compared with the hotel next door, the facilities are newer. It is close to the shopping mall, where you can go shopping, play, eat, and there are also rock climbing and physical exercise facilities. The hotel's gym is the best among all the hotels I have stayed in. It is also very convenient to take a boat to the islands in the South China Sea. The boat ride is just across the street from the Nanhai Visitor Center.
The entire snorkeling activity takes careful consideration to protect the personal safety of the participants. Professionals will guide the entire activity and pay attention to the conditions of all participants at all times to ensure the smooth progress of the activity.
Although time is tight and there are many people participating during the summer vacation⋯, it is still satisfying to explore the blue and purple corals🪸! Especially when I choose to ride a motorcycle around Qimei, I feel very relaxed! 💯
In hot weather, it is very comfortable to take a tour bus around the island. The snorkeling time is arranged at noon. The coach’s explanation before the trip is very careful. When snorkeling, the water quality is clear, and I saw purple corals. The waves are small and not dizzy. It’s a great experience
As practical as always! If you're snorkeling in the coral reefs of Qimei, remember to bring your own water shoes, as there are many rocks when entering the sea. Going barefoot or wearing socks would require great caution! To protect the ocean, you can't use shower gel; you can only rinse off with fresh water after getting out. So, you don't need to bring shower supplies, but remember to bring a towel to dry yourself. For those with nearsightedness, they also provide prescription snorkeling masks 👍
A very nice experience. The itinerary was well-arranged. The snorkeling water in Moon Carp Bay was very clear, and I saw purple coral. I recommend everyone to come to Qimei.
The instructor guides the snorkeling process carefully and patiently. Take us all to see the underwater world together. The tour guide Tudou was also very attentive in taking us around Qimei.
