Reviews
Griffith Observatory itself is free, but are we truly able to understand this great facility that's open to the public? Or are we just there to take pretty pictures? If you want your children to develop an interest in science from a young age and learn more about astronomy and Earth, then joining this guided tour is worthwhile. The tour also includes a ticket to the planetarium show, which is very much worth it, even though I fell asleep during the thoughtful performance.
Visiting Griffith Observatory was an unforgettable experience, made even better by our incredible guide, Barry! From the moment we arrived, Barry’s enthusiasm and deep knowledge of astronomy brought everything to life. He took us through the exhibits, sharing fascinating insights about space, the planets, and the history of the observatory in a way that was both engaging and easy to understand. One of the highlights was the planetarium show—Barry made sure we got the best experience by explaining what to look out for and answering all our questions with patience and expertise. He even guided us to the best spots for breathtaking views of Los Angeles and the Hollywood Sign.
Was a great experience, the guide was really friendly and knowledgeable.
It was so nice to have a group tour. I enjoyed the scenery and all the explanations from the guide. He was the nicest guide I've ever had. Parking was easy at Greek theater. The shuttle buses run every twenty minutes. We were able to touch a mediorite from the Astroid belt. It was amazing. It was worth spending money on the tour. :)
the observatory was very nice. guide was also very knowledgeable.
The Griffith Observatory Insider Tour was a fascinating experience! Our guide was knowledgeable and engaging, sharing stories that brought the observatory’s history and science exhibits to life. The views of Los Angeles from the hilltop were absolutely stunning, and the chance to explore areas with insider context made the visit feel special. Booking through Klook was smooth and convenient, with clear instructions and easy entry. The only minor drawback was that the tour felt a bit rushed at times—I would have loved more time to linger at certain exhibits. Still, it’s a fantastic way to experience one of LA’s most iconic landmarks, and I’d definitely recommend it to visitors looking for a deeper understanding of the observatory.
5 star guide Oscar walked us through the observatory and gave us insights on many areas of the universe and planets
The tour was money well spent! Angelica is an experienced and knowledgeable tour guide. She answered all our questions. We learnt a lot about the Obervatory which only a guide like Anglelica could explain the details about the architecture of the building. it was all fascinating information. As usual Klook made it easy to book this tour with reminders sent closer to the date.
The tour was really worth it. The guide who was with us had an amazing understanding of the observatory. He explained us so many different things about the observatory and astronomy in general. had travelled with my wife and 10 year old kid, my kid absolutely loved it. It’s mainly a credit to the guide for giving all the knowledge in an easy to consume and engaging way.
Was able to have photo on the Hollywood landmark, best location.
