I could have spent the entire day here! There was a variety of media to engage with for every step of the film production process. It was incredibly eye-opening and insightful. Loved learning about this history of how Hollywood came to be as well! I'd love to go back and check out their other limited exhibits like Cyberpunk when it's here in a couple months :).

The history of academy awards and movies placed in over 2-4 floors,5 th floor was booked for some private function,quite an exhaustive collection..especially Godfather fans!!There is also near by LACMA centre where we can have photo ops

This museum is very thoughtfully planned. Since it's Oscar-related, the first exhibit set introduces the newly added casting category award for this year. Of course, it also covers other awards like editing and sound design. There are many different special exhibitions; this time, the special exhibit features Jaws, which they say is their first time focusing on a single film. Learning about the behind-the-scenes stories was very interesting. The production designer for the Barbie set is incredibly talented, and there are many incredibly detailed models of their work inside.
