Cooking Class Experience at Villa Canggu by Plataran

we had fun cooking the different dishes with chef Wiwin. he was patient with us and made sure we felt comfortable with the session. we were also given welcome coconuts. the dishes we cooked were also seasoned to our preference. we got to make a appetiser, one fish dish, one grilled meat and a dessert. one area to improve would be the market tour… there were only a few stores to checkout and it can be quite a “sight” for some of the stores.. tho this reflects the authentic life of some balinese ppl.

The cooking class, which is fabulous! It's a private peaceful course in the lovely yard of the villa with a local market tour for only 500k pp. All the staff are very sweet and helpful. We made four dishes from scratch in no hurry. After that we sit in a bale and enjoyed our own cooking. I would recommend this to everyone interested in Balinese cooking!

We had an incredibly wonderful cooking class for two. The location and atmosphere are like something out of a movie. First, you go to the market and learn about the ingredients. Then, you cook four courses and afterwards eat them in the restaurant. Perfect for couples! The chef was super entertaining and nice. For us, this was one of the most beautiful experiences in Bali :).

The resort's cooking class venue preparation and teaching process were incredibly thoughtful. From introducing ingredients at the traditional market to the chef's meticulous step-by-step instruction, and finally enjoying the delicious and ample food for lunch, we had a wonderful morning with our two children.

My first cooking class and I was happy to experience it. I was introduced to Balinese local food. The activity started with a tour to a local market then back to the villa for cooking class. The instructors were kind and friendly :)

Not the cheapest cooking class around. The experience was good and the chef was great. However, there was an issue with our booking because the Klook was not clear on booking for a group of 5. The UX rating with Klook for this activity is a 1/5.

The instructor was very kind, and a hotel chef personally taught us. Although it was difficult to properly explore the local market due to an event, the detailed explanations of the cooking process and ingredients allowed me to clearly identify which food ingredients I cannot eat. Both the cooking and dining areas were beautifully decorated, so I highly recommend this cooking class to any Koreans who are considering it!
