Keelung Island Landing, Island Tour, Lighthouse Visit

On August 22nd, I visited Taipei and took the opportunity to sign up for the Klook Keelung Islet tour, which I'd wanted to do for a long time. I chose the Julong fleet based on a hunch, and their boat was grand, luxurious, and comfortable. On a hot day, we could continuously get ice-cold bottled water. The best part was our guide that day, Sister Xiaorou, who was incredibly nice. She gave a detailed and humorous introduction to Keelung Islet. During our hike, she also acted as a professional photographer, even helping us find special spots for beautiful photos. Through our casual chats, we learned she's a timeless beauty, which left us all amazed. Plus, it was a sunny day on Keelung Islet, so every photo we took captured a beautiful landscape. It's definitely worth a visit!

It only takes less than 25 minutes to take a boat from Bisha Fishing Port to Keelung Island. On the Sunday after the typhoon at the end of July, the sun was shining brightly and the wind and waves were calm. I went to the island and walked around to see the strange rocks and magnificent sea views on the island, as well as the unique view of the island from different angles. I wanted to take part in the three-in-one itinerary this time because I wanted to walk the pagoda climbing trail (due to damage caused by the earthquake in April and it was repaired on 7/11). Unfortunately, I suffered from heat stroke halfway through the pavilion, so I didn’t have time to rest and climb to the top. Thanks for the rest. The tour guide sister Yuxiu (Yixiu) and the other ship's brother helped me recover quickly with scraping and massage. The enthusiastic elder sister provided scraping cream, food, etc. I am very grateful. The most beautiful scenery in Taiwan is the people. In addition, sister Yuxiu introduced the tour in detail and helped the group members to take photos ( There are internet celebrity levels) ~ Like! Big recommendation!

A very good and careful tour leader, with detailed guidance and accompanying the whole journey. The service team was also very attentive and friendly. They provided mineral water to everyone on the island and took trekking poles to the island where we disembarked. The weather was very good and the breeze was cool. April is a very suitable season. Everything is right if you choose the right day. The boat is clean and comfortable, the sailing is experienced, the service team + the leader = 100 points of satisfaction. Keelung Island is a must-visit place in your life. The beautiful scenery on the island is refreshing. The island is very clean. It is a happy journey and a great place to relax.

Experience: Before departure, staff will give out small gifts. The boat is new, clean, and has air conditioning indoors, allowing you to enjoy the sea view without getting hot! Alternatively, you can go outside to a platform with seating or to the second-floor seating area for guests to choose from. 👏 The scenery along the walking path on Keelung Islet is beautiful, and you can also admire driftwood art installations. 😃 Our guide, Yuxiu, provided detailed and rich explanations of Keelung City's scenery and the island. She's also a great photographer who helps guests take pictures! 😁

We participated in the June 13th, 10 AM departure to Keelung Islet aboard the Hualien Hao. We were very lucky that it didn't rain at all during the trip and there was even some sunshine. We also appreciate our tour guide, who, despite the daily hard work, led us through the entire mountain hike with full enthusiasm. 👍

The long-awaited trip to Keelung Island🗻, this time I chose Julong Fleet. Wow~ The yacht is so high-end🚢It comes with a three-in-one itinerary to land on the island, go around the island, and go to the lighthouse! ! Go to Bisha Fishing Port early in the morning to gather. Arrive at the entrance of the fishing port a little early. There is a free parking lot on the left hand side. Walk to the Julong counter for about three minutes and wait for check-in to receive the island landing pass. The reception staff is kind and the tour guide carefully explains how to put on and take off the life jacket. With the instructions for boarding the island by boat, we will introduce the story of Keelung Island in detail and successfully climb to the top with us! ! I am very happy to join the Jinlong Island Tour. The tour leader, Sister Ikkiu, explained it very clearly. She also took everyone to the tower and taught everyone how to take pictures. Although the group members did not know each other, we were able to be on the same boat after a hundred years of hard work. Under the leadership of the tour leader, everyone interacted well. Iced mineral water was also provided on the boat. Everyone should climb the lighthouse according to their ability and pay attention to sun protection in hot weather.

I think the Jinlong team is great. The gifts they provided were practical: a foil-packaged FIN drink, sunscreen, and some snacks. Our tour guide, Yi Xiu, was also very dedicated; she explained things thoroughly, pointed out various rock formations, and even took cute and beautiful photos! However, the experience was very poor due to issues with Keelung Islet tourism. If it's meant to be a tourist destination, they should account for the hot weather. More pavilions and shaded areas should be installed, otherwise, the guided tour just feels like an endless sun exposure machine, which significantly detracts from the overall experience! Climbing to the lighthouse isn't difficult, but it was just too hot. I'd get winded every few steps and needed to cool down. Everyone looked at me with envy because I had an umbrella. Make sure to bring enough FIN; I brought a liter. If possible, bring more snacks for energy; I only brought two small packs of Oreos, which was barely enough. Sunscreen is crucial!! And wear good sunglasses!! Come on, Taiwan tourism still has a lot of room for improvement.

Two days ago, I received a call to adjust the time. No problem. I asked about the weather conditions. As the ship owner told me, the weather was stable in the morning. It started to rain as soon as we returned to Keelung Port. It just passed by. Although the waves were not high, the top of the yacht still swayed quite a bit, and several children still suffered from seasickness despite taking seasickness medicine. Fortunately, there are many sofas on the yacht, so you can take a rest. The tour leader took us to visit Keelung Island. It was a great trip and the yacht was also very luxurious!
