A very amazing experience for me and my friends in Hobart. The guide was very insightful and love to share stories about our destination. View is amazing and the weather was clear. Thank you so much for the great experience
This is the best itinerary for the hobart first timer. Banzi the guide explain the history little bit in the road trip, all the trip is exactly as the itinerary. perfect places with value for money. i thought the travel will use small bus, but they use a van for less than 12person so its not to croud. they stop by at the chocolate foundry, lavender shop, maingon bay look out and cave (optional)
Very knowledgeable guide who showed us all the important tourist attractions on the way and gave amole time to explore Port Arthur historic site. Highly recommended this for hassle free and enjoyable experience in Hobart
attractions on the way: pretty straightforward itinerary. group size: small very intimate and not noisy. guide: friendly and very accomplished. itinerary:
The site shows second way of education for the 180 convicts migrated to Tasmania at 1832? The Asylum and the special prisons are the significance to the sentenced teenages.
Great tour much cheaper if you would do it on your own coz the public transport cost 40$ for one person ! The driver talkd about History and we stoped at chocolate factory
A highly recommended tour that covers all your important spots on the way and around Port Arthur to fully cover the stories and history of the historically rich location. We were picked up at our requested hotel (as per the list of stops provided in the booking section) right on time in a very clean and organised van seeing as our group was small during the off peak season. Our guide Jodie was absolutely wonderful and spoke to us about facts all throughout the journey to Port Arthur, stopping over historic landmarks and even some local factories to pick up some goodies and gifts. She answered all our questions very enthusiastically. Please note that the ticket for the Port Arthur location is separately booked through their website (including a really lovely and informative short cruise). You can book when you get to the location, our guide was kind enough to help out anyone who needed help with the process, but I would recommend having it ready and booked beforehand so you don't have to waste time getting them. Port Arthur is a hauntingly beautiful place and so rich in the very raw history of Australia, I would encourage travellers to experience it and the realities that created the Australia we know today. Would also highly recommend catching the cave at the end, such a unique view and great vantage point to take in the landscapes of Tasmania. Overall amazing tour for such an affordable price, would 100% recommend.
The trip was good, and we visited lots of Tassie shops. Bunzy is a good guide with fun commentaries, good driving, and great recommendations. If you want to visit Port Arthur for a longer time, this trip may not be for you.
guides bob and coco were informative and brought us to a few more sights aside from the port arthur
the guide is very helpful and knowledgeable to introduce the sightseeing points to us
