Ninh Binh/Tam Coc/Trang An - Ha Long Limousine by Duy Khang

This company is truly excellent. Even though there were only three of us, they provided such a large bus, which was very spacious and comfortable. The only minor drawback was that it drove a bit slowly; we departed at 7 AM and didn't arrive until 11 AM. However, if you're not in a hurry, it's very comfortable, and the seats recline for sleeping. If you need to catch a cruise between 11:20 AM and 11:40 AM, you'll still make it, as the drop-off is right at the pier. The driver was also excellent, a perfect score!

It is a luxury minibus with spacious seating, clear pickup and drop-off locations, and it is very punctual.

The bus departed on time from in front of the Happy Travel office. The price is very reasonable.

There was absolutely no communication from the tour operator at all. We reached the pickup spot but there was no vehicle. Even customer care from klook was unable to contact the operator. Luckily, there was an office of Duy Khang at the Tam Coc postoffice pickup point. After informing the employee there, he arranged a vehicle which left 45 after the scheduled time. On the positive side, we were the only 2 passengers on that route at that time but still they arranged the promised vehicle with no compromise. The vehicle and ride were very comfortable. The drop off was at 10.45 am. Be aware that a lot of the cruise ships leave from the Halong International Cruise Port which is a 25 minute grab from the drop off point.

The bus didn’t show up until I got local people to make call for me. They sent someone to pick me up to transfer to a big tour bus. It’s already one hour behind original time. I was dropped off by the international cruise port which is 20 min away my original drop off location so I have to pay 200,000 for the taxi. The whole time I was so frustrated because cruise won’t wait. I was running against the time. Finally I arrived the check in terminal at 11:59. It’s really a nightmare! The lesson learned is to confirm with the company in advance. If they missed it, there are times to amend. The only good thing is there are people in the office to make the last minute arrangement for me. I met a couple who had the same problem with no driver show up from another company. That company didn’t do anything so the have to get a Grab and paid $90 US dollar in order to catch the cruise. I am luckier because I have local people to help me communicate with the bus company.
