Dining Experience with Fireworks & 3D Mapping Sun Bavaria Ha Long

The location is absolutely the best. Being independently situated on the coast, offering a view of the fireworks, the ambiance and vibe here are top-notch for the area, hahaha. I thought the food was decent; the fried chicken was cheap and delicious, but the fried fish set, though more expensive, felt just average. We bought two expensive sets for the adults and two cheaper sets for the kids, and we couldn't even finish all four meals. The waitstaff here are among the best in the area; their attitude is excellent, and they communicate well in English, which is commendable 👍🏻. We're used to enjoying the best food, service, and modern facilities back home, but considering this is Vietnam, my expectations weren't too high, and it was acceptable. The fireworks were short but high-class. After two days in Vietnam, tonight was definitely the best experience. Even the front desk staff at five-star hotels here are often unhelpful and clueless. These restaurant servers knew more English words than they did. Transportation was also an issue; most drivers would ask for a bit more in tips. Only one Grab taxi driver was incredibly honest; he waited for us for a long time without canceling or showing any frustration or demands. We didn't have small change, and he waited patiently at the hotel entrance for us to get some. My husband didn't tip him extra, and I felt bad because it's rare to find such a genuinely honest person. Honest people like him deserve a bigger tip; their integrity is worth it, unlike those who constantly ask for more. Also, staying by the sea at night! The karaoke and disco downstairs were so loud I couldn't sleep. It went on until 1 AM. I booked this hotel in Ha Long Bay based on reviews, and it's supposedly five-star, but sigh! The front desk staff couldn't speak English, but the bellboy could. When I called the front desk, they actually had the bellboy answer. Honestly, they should just let the bellboy work the front desk; a five-star hotel front desk that can't speak English is less useful than a luggage carrier.

This is considered a very high-end experience locally. It's in the best location by the sea, perfect for watching fireworks. The food is decent and not too expensive. We bought a set meal for four people (two adults, two children). We got the cheaper option for the children since there isn't a kids' menu, but there was too much food. I suggest adding a children's menu. If set meals are sold per person, children should also have choices.

Buying on Klook is convenient and affordable. However, it requires using apps to contact them, and these apps are not available in Vietnam. I hope Klook can fix this.

The tour was fun and safe, and the travel product is suitable for all ages. You should definitely go!
