Towering at a height of 2,132 meters above sea level, the ‘Mountain of Dragons’ offers fantastic sights of the Swiss Alps and a relaxing atmosphere that one can’t simply find elsewhere. Have the chance to ride the gondola up to Fräkmüntegg where you will switch to the aerial cableway called the ‘Dragon Ride’ (its panoramic windows will surely take you to cloud 9). And after that, you’ll reach the summit of Mt Pilatus. There, you’ll have the leisure of exploring the alpine scenery, hiking up to one of the peaks, relaxing on the terrace, or simply, having a meal at one of the restaurants on site. Your excursion won’t be complete without experiencing one of the highlights of the trip - the great descent on the world's steepest cogwheel railway! Once you’re ready to go back down, hop aboard the cogwheel train and prepare your heart to be taken away by the cogwheel train ride before arriving in Alpnachstad and going back to Lucerne.

Amazing experience taking the cable car up, exploring the summit, and riding the world’s steepest cogwheel on the way down.
Exchanging tickets were fuss free. You can choose the mode of transport up and down. We chose the cableway down and cogwheel up. But do check on the transport mode availability during your travel periods as they may differ. Really beautiful place to visit when you're in Swiss!
It was very convenient for us to redeem the ticket from the ticket office. The staffs were very friendly. My husband and I enjoyed the view from the peak of the mountain. Thank God for the weather. We could see the beautiful view from the peak! Definitely worth a visit!
It is a scenic spot that is very worth visiting. In addition to discounts, it is also very convenient to go to the scene to change the voucher, so as to avoid queuing up to buy tickets like other tourists.

Great experience from riding the cable car up, to walking along the Dragon Walk (side of the mountain). When it's foggy or cloudy, there's not much to see though. You have to wait until the clouds clear, then it's a wonderful view.

This was very fun. The view from the top was amazing. Food at the restaurant on top was also good, we saw others having fish and chips and had the same. Pricey but the whole experience was seamless and worth it.
