The McKithan Hotel Usage Guide

• Sleep No More, held at ‘the McKithan Hotel', is an immersive performance with no boundaries between the stage and the audience, and a non-verbal performance without dialogue. You will explore a complete sensory world at your own pace, experiencing scenes in a non-linear way as the story unfolds around you. The viewing time is flexible depending on the check-in time (approximately 2-3 hours), and there are no assigned seats in any of the performance spaces except for the Manderley Bar. You will explore the inside of the Hotel in your own way and after the performance, you are free to stay in the Manderley Bar.
• Entry is strictly prohibited for anyone under the age of 19. All guests may be required to present proof of age when entering the Hotel. Please bring valid identification (e.g. passport, alien registration card, etc.). Please note that age cannot be verified visually.
• Entry times for this performance vary depending on the Purchase Option you have purchased. Please enter the Hotel according to your designated entry time and follow the instructions of the staff. There may be a wait depending on the on-site circumstances. We recommend arriving at the Hotel no later than your Entry time. Please note that late arrivals may result in restricted entry depending on the progress of the performance.
• Guests are allowed to leave the Hotel during the performance. However, re-entry will not be permitted once you exit.
• You will be required to wear a Punchdrunk mask. This is separate from any medical masks you choose to wear. The Punchdrunk masks can be worn with glasses, but contact lenses may be worn for greater comfort.
• Personal belongings such as bags and coats are not allowed to be brought into the Hotel. A cloakroom service is provided to store your belongings before entering the Hotel. (No large bags such as suitcases can be left at the cloakroom)
• Due to the nature of the performance, you will be walking around the Hotel, including up and down stairs, so we recommend wearing comfortable clothing and shoes. For your safety, please do not wear high heels or loose-fitting footwear such as sandals. Entry may be restricted if inappropriate attire of footwear is worn. Cancellations, refunds, or changes will not be permitted on the day of the performance for this reason. Guests are fully responsible for any injuries or accidents resulting from inappropriate clothing or footwear, and the company will not be held liable.
• Once the performance begins, you may be separated from your group. Please refrain from speaking to other audience members during the performance. The staff will not assist you in locating your group except under special circumstances (e.g. guests with limited mobility, pregnant women, etc.)
• All items within the Mckithan Hotel are valuable property of the hotel. Unauthorized removal or personal possession of hotel property is strictly prohibited under any circumstances. Any violation may result in immediate retrieval and restrictions on future use of the hotel. If an item is personally handed to you by a performer during a special moment, you are welcome to keep it.
• The use of electronic devices, including mobile phones, smartwatches, tablets, and cameras, is strictly prohibited inside the Hotel. Photography, video, or audio recording without prior consent is not permitted once inside. Upon entering the Hotel, your mobile phone will be placed in a sealed pouch secured by staff, which will be unlocked when you leave the Hotel. This restriction does not apply inside the Manderley Bar. Please cooperate with staff during inspections. The company is not responsible for any lost items inside the Hotel.
• Any inappropriate behavior within the Hotel, including but not limited to verbal abuse toward performers or staff, physical altercations, actions that interfere with the performance, damage to sets or props, or failure to follow staff instructions, may result in sanctions or immediate removal from the venue. In such cases, ticket refunds will not be issued.
• Smoking, including the use of electronic cigarettes, is strictly prohibited inside the Hotel. The entry of hazardous materials, plastic bags, and food is also not allowed. All guests are required to undergo a security check prior to entry, and any prohibited items must be kept in the cloak room.
• Entry is strictly prohibited for anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs, under any circumstances. Also, guests who are or become excessively intoxicated and cause discomfort or disturbance to others may be subject to sanctions or removal from the Hotel.
• There is no dedicated parking lot at the Hotel. Traffic around the hotel is extremely congested, and parking may take a significant amount of time. The Hotel is located very close to Chungmuro Station (Lines 3 and 4), so we strongly encourage the use of public transportation. If you plan to use a parking facility, please check nearby parking options in advance. (Parking fees will be charged according to each facility's pricing policy.)

Manderley Bar Guide

• After checking in at the McKithan Hotel, your journey will begin and end in Manderley Bar. This bar remains open throughout the performance, should you wish to take a break.
• Each ticket includes one welcome drink from Manderley Bar, with a choice of alcoholic or non-alcoholic options. Additional drinks can be purchased at the Bar. Please note that outside food is not permitted.
• Welcome drinks are available for collection until 30 minutes before the end of the performance.
• MATINEE 14:00 : Until 16:30
• MATINEE 15:00 : Until 17:30
• EVENING 19:00 : Until 21:30
• Seating on the 2nd and 3rd floors of Manderley Bar is reserved exclusively for Maximilian's Circle and Ruby's Guest. Maximilian's Circle and Ruby's Guest include seating in Manderley Bar, and individual seat selection is not available at the time of reservation.

Performance Guide

• This performance deals with themes of family tragedy, murder and revenge You may encounter violence, blood and nudity. Please take this into consideration when purchasing tickets and viewing. The choice of where to go and what to see is yours. If you are finding a scene uncomfortable you will always be able to go somewhere else. Also, clothing may become soiled or damaged during the performance, and the production cannot be held responsible for this. Please take this into careful consideration when purchasing tickets and exercise caution during the performance.
• This performance includes intense effects such as strobe lighting, laser effects, loud sound effects, and theatrical haze, all used to heighten the dramatic experience, and certain areas are lit at a low level. All materials used in the performance are harmless to the human body; however, if you are sensitive to dark environments, smells, smoke, noise or strong visual stimuli, please take this carefully into consideration before purchasing tickets. As the audience moves through the space during the performance, please pay close attention to your surroundings while walking.
• We do not recommend the performance for individuals with medical conditions such as high blood pressure, heart disease, back or neck problems, panic disorder, anxiety, claustrophobia, or epilepsy. Attendance is also not recommended for pregnant individuals or those who may be sensitive to intense sensory experiences.
• This production includes choreography with large physical movements. For the safety of both performers and audience members, please keep a reasonable distance from the performers at all times. Please refrain from any physical contact with performers during the performance. Excessive or intentional contact may result in immediate removal from the Hotel.
• As this performance involves movement throughout the venue, please be mindful of your surroundings at all times during the show. Running inside the hotel is strictly prohibited, and guests are asked to move carefully and safely. Climbing on furniture or structures is also prohibited. Any injuries resulting from personal negligence are the sole responsibility of the guest, and the production cannot be held responsible for this. Also, any damage to venue facilities caused by prohibited behavior may result in charges for repair or replacement.
• Guests are allowed to leave the hotel during the performance. However, re-entry will not be permitted once you exit.
• Due to the nature of the production, certain staging elements may vary depending on the situation. The cast for each performance will not be announced in advance. Cast details can be checked on-site after the performance has ended.
• Photography, video recording, and audio recording are strictly prohibited inside the performance space, unless prior permission has been granted. However, this restriction does not apply inside the Manderley Bar. Any unauthorized recording or photography may result in immediate removal from the hotel and may lead to legal action. We kindly ask for your full cooperation in respecting these guidelines.
• In the event that the performance cannot proceed as scheduled due to force majeure or other objective reasons, the company is only responsible for refunding the face value of the ticket. No additional compensation will be provided for any other losses or damages.
• Guests are responsible for familiarizing themselves with the Hotel policies. Please note that cancellations, changes, or refunds for tickets will not be allowed under any circumstances due to failure to review these policies in advance.
