The Nanta Show was more amazing than I thought. The actors were so talented and I have never seen five people doing a full 2 hour show and we couldn't take our eyes off. The audience engagement was so amazing. Make sure to go on time to catch a front area seat. Some people do get to take part in the act also which looks so fun. The most talented show we have ever seen in our travels as they can dance, play, fight, sing, comedy and even do magic.
I absolutely loved the Nanta Show! It’s one of the most entertaining and unique performances I’ve ever seen. The combination of comedy, cooking, music, and incredible rhythm kept the audience engaged from start to finish. The performers are incredibly talented — their timing, expressions, and interaction with the crowd are just perfect. Even without any spoken dialogue, the story is easy to follow and filled with humor that transcends language barriers. The drumming using kitchen utensils and the synchronized choreography are simply mesmerizing.
Nanta is one of the best 10 tourists spot in Seoul recommended for tourist, it started from 1997 and maintain the popularity, so many interaction with audience and the quartet percussion were profoundly influenced. highly recommended *thumbs up*
My wife and I enjoyed the show. I chose the A seats upstairs thinking we’ll get good “bird-eye” view from the top, which is true. But I will recommend you take the S seats at lower level (cost a bit more) as then you will get to see the audience interaction part. Those at the top (like us) cannot see what’s happening during the audience interaction below. Not that it is a must-see, just you wonder what those below are laughing about.
Our first time watching. very relaxed and fun interactive live show. we adults enjoyed it. even young children have fun watching. highly recommended. easy to book through klook. n redemption was easy.
Nanta Show: A Percussive Punch of Fun in Myeongdong The Nanta Show in Myeongdong is a unique and energetic performance that's a must-see for anyone looking for something different in Seoul. Imagine a kitchen, a group of chefs, and a whole lot of percussion – that's Nanta in a nutshell. It's a non-verbal performance, using cooking utensils and traditional Korean rhythms to tell a comedic and lively story. I caught the 8 PM show, opting for an S seat. While it was a bit further back, the theater itself is quite intimate, so I still felt connected to the action. The show's premise is simple: a group of chefs are tasked with preparing a wedding feast under a tight deadline, leading to hilarious chaos and impressive culinary (and musical) feats. "Cute and funny" perfectly sums up the experience. The performers are incredibly talented, blending slapstick comedy with impressive skills. My personal highlights were the moments involving clever tricks with the kitchen tools and, of course, the powerful drumming sequences. The rhythm was infectious, and the energy radiating from the stage was palpable. Nanta is a fantastic option for those seeking a lighthearted and entertaining evening. It's accessible to everyone, regardless of language barriers, and it's a great way to experience a slice of Korean culture in a modern, dynamic way. If you're looking for something fresh and exciting to add to your Seoul itinerary, I highly recommend the Nanta Show. It's a percussive, comedic, and thoroughly enjoyable experience.
If it’s your first time visiting Seoul, this show is a must-watch! I visited Seoul for layover to Japan but this show as so fun to watch as it is easy to understand without any Korean skill. Their performance was very professional and entertaining at the same time.
it’s a most see! my whole family loved it! we are glad we made it possible to see it. the only downside is that you cannot choose your seats. paid for VIP and was so far that felt like regular seats.
nanta is amazing, funny and entertaining, a creative, unique live show. highly recommend, audience members do get pulled onto stage to join in on the fun. you dont have to know korean language to enjoy. go see it, at least once.
A program worth watching. There are only 5 actors but the show was captivating from beginning to end. Cute, funny. Very good interaction with the audience. Nanta show no longer performs at Myongdong theater but next to this Police station. If you can't find it, you can go and ask the police.
