What to expect
This is a sumo viewing and dining tour specially for international visitors.
Meeting & Shuttle Meet at Aoto Station by 9:20 AM. Shuttle provided to the sumo stable.
Sumo Stable Visit Explore a traditional sumo stable. Take photos outside and enjoy explanations with interpretation inside.
Practice Viewing Watch sumo wrestlers train up close. Please stay quiet; children may step out if restless.
Optional Plan: Sumo Up Close + Topknot & Meal
Meal & Topknot Demonstration Enjoy chanko hot pot while watching a sumo wrestler’s topknot styled up close.
Photo Opportunity Take photos during the topknot styling.
Seating Sit on floor cushions in a traditional space. Chairs available on request.
End & Return Tour ends at 12:30 PM. Shuttle back to Aoto Station provided.
