Reviews summaryThis tour is perfect for those staying in Florence who want to visit the surrounding towns. The itinerary for the day is as follows: 7:20 AM Meet at the Florence SMN train station – Pisa (1 hour) – Winery near San Gimignano (Lunch + 3 wine tastings) – San Gimignano (1 hour) – Siena (1 hour) – 7:30 PM Return to SMN train station. The whole trip is quite compact, with only about 1 hour in each location. If you want to explore properly, the time is not really enough. However, its strength is its convenience, as you travel by bus and it's not tiring, so it's still very suitable. The tour guide, Barbara, is very friendly and responsible. I recommend this tour! (The entire tour is explained in English).
It was a great experience to tour in those beautiful places especially with the help of our friendly & professional tour guide, BARBARA. She made everything perfect! From the prompt schedule, to lunchtime and up to our way back to Firenzi. I would recommend this group tour to my friends for them to see those awesome places. Gracias Barbara & to the driver, Francesco.
I was the only Korean. It was actually nice. There was no problem at all enjoying it alone. Rather, they dropped me off at the location and since it was a free tour, I was able to walk around freely and leisurely. They gave me about an hour per location and told me the meeting point and time several times. They kept checking my attendance, and if I was late, others would keep waiting, so I had to meet up as much as possible on time. I tasted three wines at the winery, and all three were delicious. The starter was delicious, but the spaghetti was just okay. It was edible, but not incredibly delicious. Instead, the wine was really delicious. I took a lot of pictures because the scenery was so pretty while drinking the wine. Since the bathrooms are paid, I had to stop by whenever I could.
The day trip was a lovely one. Hilary was a wonderfully clear and organised tour guide whom provided the perfect amount of information without overloading us. We had 1H at Pisa including our climb up to the tower so we didn't have a lot of time to explore the other attractions but since the Leaning Tower is our main focus, that wasn't an issue. You can use the toilets for free, once, if you have a ticket to any of the attractions. The food provided at the Pietraserena Vineyard was much better than expected. It was really yummy and substantial. The wine tasting and the scenery was a joy too! We had an hour at San Gimignano which was insufficient as there were many things to see and interesting little shops. We were given 1H 40mins in Siena which was way too long coz the shops were more commercial and it was pouring like mad. It was a long drive back to Florence but all in all a very satisfactory day!
Tour Guide: Barbara is very nice and speaks multiple languages. Itinerary: Each attraction is about a 1-hour drive away, with 30-45 minutes of free time scheduled. Since we visited small towns, this was enough time to find attractions for photos, grab a bite to eat or drink, and browse the local shops. As the only Asian group on the tour, everyone was friendly, and we were never left out. Great value for money, allowing for a comfortable tour. Group Size: 50-70 people
Everything ran smoothly. The places we visited were beautiful. We couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide. Barbara was amazing. She handled the group well.
Niccolo was an excellent guide! He brought the history and stories of Pisa, Siena, and San Gimignano to life with wonderful insight and practical tips. His warm humour made every story engaging and easy to follow. A truly memorable tour!
Barbara was an amazing tour guide and organised the group really well! A great way to visit three cities in a day for people with limited stay or visiting for the first time. The places we visited were beautiful and Barbara kept the energy high throughout even by the end of the day.
This tour was amazing! We visited beautiful places and had enough time to enjoy and explore each stop. Our tour guide, Niccolo, was very helpful, friendly, and shared lots of interesting history, tips, and recommendations not just for the tour, but for Italy in general. His English was very clear and easy to understand, which made the experience even better. He made the whole trip fun and enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour!
Great one-day trip! Everything was well-organized, the schedule was smooth, and we got to see so much in a short time. Highly recommended.
