The zipline was exhilarating! We got to enjoy the beautiful scenery, skyline and nature while we zoomed through the sky with the ocean beneath us. It was so thrilling, a little scary but the view and experience was truly amazing. Pictures are from a video I took with my phone hung on a safety strap. Layer up if you’re going in winter though, this part of Korea is known to be cold and especially even more so since you’ll have wind blowing at you much more than usual while ziplining!
Exhilarating! It was cold, short zip down the wire. Worth trying out. Easy to redeem. We managed to get an earlier turn when we reached. Easy to reach and plenty of taxis to choose from to return back to the train station.
The Nami Island Zipline is one of our most anticipated itineraries. We originally participated in the Zipline for family routes. In the promotion of klook, the requirement was to be 140cm and 35kg in height. Our children are also within the limit (37kg). However, when we went there, the staff member said that because of the windy day, the weight must be above 40kg to play the zipline. It was sunny and thunderous at the moment. Fortunately, the participant ’s weight includes all the equipment on the body, so we can only increase the weight of the child ’s rucksack to reach the 40 kg requirement. In the end, the children can play the zipline, but it is not the family route we intended to participate in. We were asked to switch to another turtle island route. The reason is that this route has a lot of inclination, which can reduce the danger that children will stop in the middle due to insufficient weight during the ride on the zipline. We only accept it for the sake of safety. It is suggested that the maximum speed of the two routes is the speed of the ride, from the original speed of 40 kilometers to 80 kilometers! Before starting the zipline, I was worried whether it would be too exciting, but of course I flew to Turtle Island safely, except that at the beginning of the moment it was more exciting, and the rest did not have special centrifugal force, so I might as well participate in the turtle island route. !!
Preconceived notions have been broken. Is Zip Wire Scary? Not scary and cool Nami Island is far away? It's close and it's possible to take a restful trip. In the meantime, the road to Chuncheon is blocked.
Its my second zipline ride to nami island, and my first with klook. Previously i bought it via walk-in, and now by klook the different is that there’s no need to queue. However, you need to be punctual. Please have a string attached at your handphone in case you wanted to record the ride. I forgot to bring my phone handle so im not allowed to hold my phone.😭. 3rd ride, mayb.
Very fun, you can enjoy the vast scenery, different experiences, highly recommended
Be sure to try it, you can take a phone with a waterproof case to record the whole process, it is very cold in winter, you need to be fully armed, otherwise it will freeze to unconsciousness.
High-altitude flying flashes are highly recommended, and Nami Island is also worth visiting (there are ostriches on the island). The play facilities are good, and it just happened to meet the ice sculpture exhibition.
