ENKO Electric Bike Ride on the Han River Bike Path in Seoul

Had a really great cycle here. The ebike is very comfortable to sit on and drove smoothly. The shop is easily accessible and easy to find from bus or subway. The owner is very kind and speaks English. He biked with me to the entrance of the trail. It will be a comfortable adventure for all fitness levels. I recommend this as a fun way to see the Han River in person, there's a really good fitness community with wide paths separated for walkers and cyclists. Will be back! :)

This is my second time cycling while staying in Seoul. I contacted them in advance via WhatsApp, and they printed out a course map for me in the opposite direction from last time. Thanks to that, I was able to enjoy a different view. During the cycling, I also visited the Seoul Battleship Park, where I could see battleships and submarines (a separate admission fee is required, but it's cheap). Cycling along the Han River is never boring, as you can see the skyscrapers on the opposite bank, the wide river, the various designs of the bridges, the high-rise apartments, parks, lawns, and forests nearby, no matter where you go. I recommend it on a sunny day. The owner is really kind, and it made my trip to Korea very enjoyable. Thank you!

Cycling along the Han River was incredibly refreshing. When I think of rivers in Japan, I often picture baseball fields, vast open spaces, and embankments reinforced with concrete, along with promenades. Especially in urban areas, cities and rivers don't seem to connect well. However, the Han River runs through the heart of the city, yet it features numerous trees planted to create small forests, providing pleasant shade. Many people were enjoying picnics on the lawns. The restrooms were clean, air-conditioned, and conveniently located throughout the area. It's the perfect place to relax and spend a leisurely day while enjoying the view across the river. A cycling path runs along the river, accommodating both serious road bikers and casual cyclists. If you want to take it slow, you keep to the right. Along the way, I saw several plazas with various exercise equipment. I left enko a little after 11 a.m., and after stopping at several of these plazas, I was late for the Banpo Bridge Moonlight Rainbow Fountain show at noon! I only caught the last few minutes from under the bridge, but it was quite impressive. Lastly, the owner of enko speaks Japanese and is a cheerful and helpful person. Because it rained on the morning of my reservation, I contacted them via WhatsApp and they postponed it by a day! They were very thoughtful, providing things like ice water, sunscreen, and luggage storage, which was a great help. Thank you!

Highly recommend Enko! One of the highlights of our trip. We had a short introduction to the bike etc and then we were off along the river. Plenty of storage while riding the biking for peronal items. We rode to the park by the Rainbow Fountain Bridge and had a picnic. We were slightly late back to the shop as the booking is for 2 hours, we arrived 30mins late…but everything was ok and operator and no issue ☺️ such a nice ride on a good sunny day.

We were 20 minutes late because of the rain, and it looked like our plans might be canceled. But thankfully, after the staff finished their explanation, the rain actually stopped! We were so lucky. We quickly got on our bikes to explore. It was very pleasant, and the weather wasn't hot.

if y like scenery and active activity, this is the one for you! Excellent bike ride around hangang river about 20km round trip. Recommend to book in the evening for a more sceneric dawn view. the shop owner is so friendly! eventhough I was late 15mins, he was very flexible and accommodating. Do give this bicycle service a try! You won't regret it 😬

Finally made it to Enko for a Han River bike ride! We had to push our plans from yesterday because of the rain, but today’s sunshine and perfect weather made it worth the wait. ​The e-bikes are super user-friendly and the riverside trails felt very safe. It was a really great experience for our family of 4. The operation of the electric bike was really easy. Just wish we could’ve rode a bit longer. If you are visiting Seoul, this is definitely something you need to do!

This was our highlight in Seoul. We love how effortless and smooth our e-bike journey was. From the start we were given instruction and guideline how to operate. We are immensely grateful to have the owner ride together with us to show the places of interest along the east side of the Han river which was surprisingly very bike friendly. One of our stop includes the battleship ship park which was very unique and educational. the other stop was the ecology park which was very tranquil and picturesque. Before we even realise, the total journey was 20km and we even manage to ride outside of Seoul. We had the best time and we highly recommend this place!
