Eobi Valley & Fruit Picking & Hwacheon Sancheoneo Ice Fishing Tour

The overall itinerary was well arranged and there was plenty of time. It was a good experience. The Eobi Ice Valley that I originally wanted to go to was closed due to the weather, so I went to Gapyeong Begonia Bird Park instead. Unexpectedly, the garden was very beautiful to take pictures🤣There are also some small animals and birds here, and it is also very suitable for parent-child travel. Went to morningcalm at night, it was really beautiful after the lights were lit👍🏻It’s worth a visit! Finally, I would like to thank Brother Zhao, who is also the driver and tour guide, for being very friendly.

Micheal was a great tour guide and driver. Very friendly and considerate. The food was great not the regular tour eating place but a nuserary cafe. However, Eboi valley was abit disappointing and nothing much dun even have ice. The rest was great strawberry is fragrance, sweet n big. Aplaca was a great place too.

There are many activities at the Hwacheon Ice Fishing Festival! In addition to fishing, you can also enjoy sledding and slides, and the tour guide Kay is very enthusiastic and responsible! He also taught us how to catch trout. It’s worth going and will recommend it to other friends.

The trip was started on time and ended an hour early. We first went to a remote location for strawberry picking. Good thing that there were no other guests at that time but us. Then, we went to Eobi Valley. The van had to be parked 500 meters away from the actual attraction site. The guide said that we may have to shell out money for the parking fee if we were to use the nearby parking space, which was weird bec I thought that the fee was already covered. But going back, the guide picked us up near the site, saving us from walking distance through the snow. After which, we went to a K-BBQ place to eat lunch. The place was great, and we were the first customers there! Then, we went to Alpaca World. The guide let us decide how long we want to stay there, and we agreed to stay 2.5 hours there. Finally, we went back to Seoul. The guide was really nice and kind like a great uncle to everyone. I just wish that we stayed a bit more at each place or add more places to the itinerary.

The itinerary is not bad, but the one-day itinerary and driving are a bit rushed. Hwacheon Fishing only has fishing and ice sculpture square plus grilled fish. Other sleds and snow tubing require cash payment, and you cannot use cash in lieu. It will be a bit disappointing if you bring children. !
