Sapi Island Snorkeling and Water Sports Experience

Flexible activities. You can swim on a clean and beautiful beach, snorkel and do other sports activities. You can also just lie down and relax. The food is tiptop. The time to go back is also flexible, if you are not satisfied you can go back a little later.

The weather was nice and after doing everything, it was a great day at the hotel at 3:30! It was an all-inclusive program, so we arrived at Manukan Island and immediately went parasailing, seawalked, went on a banana boat, and had lunch quickly in 15 minutes (if you do a lot of activities, you have to leave Manukan at 2 o'clock, but there are only 12 activities). It ends around 30!) I moved to another island, snorkeled slowly, and came back on the ferry at 3 o'clock! The port is 10 minutes away from the hotel, so travel time is minimal, and there are already plenty of fish and sea urchins at the port! The sea walk was also a good experience. This is why many people come to Kota Kinabalu mainly for island tours, snorkeling, and diving. It was much more fun than yesterday when I went to see monkeys and fireflies!! Recommendation Ah, I recommend purchasing aqua shoes haha.

I chose Sapi Island because I wanted to enjoy my leisure time only on Sapi Island, and I think I made a good choice. First, I asked for a vegan lunch, and they prepared it for me, and after that, I was able to continue walking around Sapi Island and enjoy my leisure time.

We recommend arriving before 8:15 AM, as the shop opens at 8:15 AM. Once you arrive at Sapi Island, you'll generally need to proactively ask the staff when activities will begin. Sapi Island is still very beautiful; I highly recommend the parasailing.

Overall, Fast and efficient experience. Didnt face any issues at all during the activities. Would recommend to all!

Provided by SeaQuest, snorkeling at Sapi Island includes boat transfers, but not an instructor. However, you can see many small fish near the shore.

We had a great day over at Sapi. Unfortunately the weather was not in our favour, but we made it over and the staff were very attentive to safety and our needs. The lunch was very special, having our own dining table and buffet hot lunch under shelter on the beach. Amazing! The island was beautiful and the snorkelling was enjoyable. A thoroughly enjoyable day. The information prior to the day was good : whats app communication with all necessary details. The only downside was the lack of information when we arrived: it took us to approach staff to ask what was happening, rather than them spontaneously telling everyone waiting that the trip would be delayed, or maybe not take place at all due to weather conditions. A warning via the whats app before arrival would have been good, but at least someone keeping us informed once they knew we were there and waiting. Thank you to the staff who took us over to the island though, as they were brilliant !

Guide was very good, water sports were exciting, water was a bit dirty though

The sea walking was deeper than I thought, so I couldn't see it well, but overall, all the activities were good! The guide was also friendly.
