The staff at The Royal Park Hotel Iconic Kyoto are great! They took great care of us during our stay. The hotel is centrally located for many of the sights and a relaxing place to stay.

Central location , close tonwub wt, Mather and everything else, , very helpful staff, free drinks and food twice a day on the second floor of the hotel ! Again our room was a bit compact- similar to our Tokyo stay but I guess that s is the norm in Japan and haven’t really bothered us, as we had everything we needed .

Make sure you bring enough change of clothes if staying long. Getting laundry done is a little difficult

Free cocktail hour. And super clean and nice. Pretty close to the hustle and bustle but far enough to make it quiet. Construction on our side was a v minor hindrance.

The room is clean, spacious and bright. The toilet is separated from shower and the light is sensor activated. Toilet is also automatically flush which makes everything so sanitary! The guest lounge is well designed and comfortable. Guest can enjoy coffee and tea, juices, matcha tea set and snacks in the morning from 10-2. It’s afternoon tea time from 2-5. They serve a very cute dessert set in a cute chest box and they are delicious. After 5 is happy hour when you can drink any alcohol and enjoy some snacks. It’s basically all day of snacks and drinks for guests to enjoy! Staffs are very helpful. They helped with booking table for dinner and arrange taxi ride if needed. They also helped me with receiving my amazon package. Service was superb! There are two convenient stores very close by. Subway station is only a min away.

Was very convenient. Only thing the shuttle system is not as it seems it’s not 24hrs and the times are limited. Show check before you book.

An excellent hotel that felt genuinely premium throughout my stay. The room was beautifully presented, clean, and finished to a high standard. The staff were friendly and professional, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was calm and welcoming. One of the highlights was the lounge access, which added real value to the stay. There were complimentary refreshments available throughout the day, including drinks and light snacks in the morning, a pleasant afternoon tea service with cakes and evening drinks accompanied by a selection of hors d’oeuvres. It was a great place to relax between sightseeing trips. The hotel also offered on-site laundry facilities, which were useful for a longer stay. There were only two washer-dryers available, so timing was important, but the live availability feed on the in-room television made it much easier to plan. There were only a couple of drawbacks. The space around the bed was extremely narrow. I was also disappointed that the hotel did not have a gym, particularly given the otherwise high standard of the facilities. Despite these minor issues, this was an excellent stay and one of the best hotels I experienced during my trip to Japan. I would happily stay here again.
