FantasticStayed with family
It was a pleasant stay, but we had to play an additional 150.00 to check in an hour early.

The room we paid for was an ocean front Luxury room and we were put in a partial ocean view. We I asked I was told we were given an upgrade. I did my research and this was definitely not an upgrade. The rooms are outdated, except the kitchen and bathroom counter tops, and the appliances looked newer. The bed was very hard and the pillows were very small for a king bed. Furniture was worn and the bathroom tile wasn’t very clean and had stains from years of use. Overall I was disappointed as I was expecting Luxury hotel and accommodation. Nice hotel just not Luxury more like a 3 star hotel. Very comparable to a chain hotel. Resort fee is 45 per night and parking also 45 per night.

FantasticStayed with friends
Wonderful stay, had a beautiful two bedroom suite, staff was excellent, with hotel having lots of amenities, restaurant bar on main level, ice cream and coffee shop, top floor has a restaurant which overlooks the ocean and city, delicious food, happy hour 3-6 on food and drinks. The hotel is located beside a beach and a large lagoon, the beach though had lots of coral, you will need water shoes to go into the water. A 15 min walk up from resort is a very large mall with a food court that sells any food you could ask for, many choices. Would definitely come again to Ilikai.

GreatStayed with family
The property has a lovely entrance with fountains and open air lobby that gives you the tropical vibe of Hawaii. However, this particular hotel is in need of some updating. The entire unit we booked need updating/remodeling. The balconies needed some work also, really rusty and dirty looking on the railing. The restaurant was AMAZING. The waitress was attentive even with the load of customers she had and had great recommendations. Valet was wonderful with recommendations to local restaurants and the actual valet service! We walked by the pool areas, but did not use the area. They seemed quite nice. The "beach" area was nice also. We weren't in the room that much overall, but a Keurig would have been a great addition. Overall, I would rate this stay as a 3, I have had worse!

Decent hotel, about 2 minutes walk to the lagoon. Does have kitchen. The Washer and dryer not in the room, about 20 minutes walk to Waikiki beach area. Pretty Noisy, can hear vehicles driving on Ala Moana blvd .

GoodStayed with kids
Pros: location, family friendly, amenities, fireworks and live show
Cons: parking ($45 per day), congested valet area (dangerous for walking), not enough elevators, noise from the street and surrounding hotels, property starting to look old (carpet, furniture, decor), one coffee shop with a long line every morning, very busy hotel and overall everything is overpriced and expensive, I get it’s a business but as prices go up so should service, hotel appearance and quality of the experience.

Wonderful place to stay! The city view from the 24th floor was absolutely amazing, and the staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout my stay.
