Below averageStayed with friends
I stayed for a week or so. Here’s the good. Security staff was awesome - personable and friendly - Caesar and the other guy that I can’t recall his name. Both were great.
As for the front staff - Marie (worked the early morning hours of the 9th or 10th) was extremely rude. She would not give us water.
Our room wasn’t cleaned for 6 of the days we stayed and when asked I was given excuse after excuse. The soup in the shower was out and when I asked about it was told, “it’s hard to find.” But they said they’d bring it and never did. We had to buy soup from the store.
Overall. Terrible experience. Stay at the Sofitel.
I’ll never stay here again.

Great location and has all you need for a stay. Rooms are small but clean. The hotel serves the purpose, I’m overall satisfied.

Centrally located and easy to walk to City Hall, Reading Terminal Market and Independence Hall. Plus convenient for the subway. Very clean and staff were great!

Great THE HOTEL IS IN THE HEART OF DOWNTOWN PHILLY AND AROUND THE CORNER FROM THE REGIONAL RAIL STATION!
THE FOOD, BARS ARE ALITTLE PRICEY. A BASIC ROOM IS BASIC; WHAT YOU SEE, IN THE PICTURES, IS WHAT YOU GET. BUT THE ROOM IS WELL APPOINTED.

Loved this place but I recommend not driving if possible, there’s no street parking and the lot across the street is about $55 per night. Other than the parking, the hotel was GREAT! Extremely clean, friendly staff and super quiet. The beds are very comfortable!!

Stayed in a Queen bed room.
Friendly front desk staff made checking in and out quick and easy.
Rooms are compact and clean with a mini fridge but no coffee maker.
If you are staying in town for more than a few days and or have a great deal of luggage you may want to opt for one of the suites.
Mattress and pillows were very comfortable.
Did not eat at the restaurant or cafe.
Parking garage directly across the street from the hotel was convenient.
Excellent location just steps away from Rittenhouse Square shopping, restaurants, etc.
