Good hotel. The location was not very convenient for movement by trains. The hotel however was clean and cozy. loved the Japanese style rooms. They also had unlimited drinks between 2:30pm and 11pm which was an added benefit.

The best hotel i’ve ever stayed in Japan! we are welcomed with Hot coffee or tea, Refreshing drinks, free sake, free snacks and most overwhelming are the staffs who are very happy and accomodating.
service: exceptional. top tier.
transport access: few mins away from bus stations
hotel location: very quiet neighborhood. great place to stay away from busy establishments. Few mins walk from Fresco supermarket (amazing cooked meals), combini and drugstore
cleanliness: the rooms and most especially the bathrooms are spotless. High likely recommended.

Beautiful hotel with very clean rooms. We chose Japanese-style twin beds. They were incredibly comfortable with quality linens. The bathroom was a little tight with a deep tub. There is a tea set for use, hair dryer, safe, and storage space. The rooms seem pretty sound proof. It is a lovely neighborhood that is great for nighttime exploring. The western breakfast was a bit lacking but traditional breakfast was very good. The washer/dryers were not the greatest. I'd recommendgoing to the nearby laundromat. No amenities at this hotel but it was just enough. We really enjoyed it.

not the nearest to the train stations, but tbe hotel service was top! they also have free flow drinks (and sake!) from 2.30-11pm so that was pretty worth the money too. the breakfast has a really good selection of food you won’t commonly find at other hotels. and Kobe beef curry was nice!! would pay to stay here again, it was comfortable and clean.

Loved so much that we extended our stay. Location is awesome, between the little streets where you feel like you are in a little village. wonderful little restaurants around the neighborhood. 10 minutes from Kyoto station!
