Stayed with partner

Although the hotel itself was relatively clean, there was a horrible stench both in our room as well as in the restaurant

Dirty room. No elevator so had to carry luggage up the stairs. Only good thing about this place is that it was close to the airport and had a free shuttle service

Walking distance to the lake views of the sea planes coming and going. Shuttle service was a bit less than prompt as I would’ve expected

Ok place to stay. Positives: close to airport and shuttle. Good shower pressure. Lots of towels. Sheets smelled clean. Staff friendly. Negatives: nothing fancy. No continental breakfast. Bed mattress not soft.

Fantastic
We booked a one-night stay at Coast Inn before a long flight from Anchorage to Washington DC. Check-in was very easy, and the counter agent friendly and helpful. The Inn was clean, had a very comfortable bed, and a nice sitting area with fireplace. The Piper restaurant provided three meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) with a courteous and friendly staff. Did not get to use the amenities (exercise room, etc.), but they looked to include well maintained equipment. Overall, a good choice close to the airport located on Lake Hood.
