I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel R14 Kaohsiung. The location is incredibly convenient, as it is located just a short walk from the metro station, making transport around the city effortless. It is also very close to the night market, and the surrounding area offers a wide variety of excellent food options. The hotel's breakfast is a highlight, as it offers a vegetarian breakfast buffet with excellent varieties. This made it entirely worry-free and delicious for plant-based travellers. On top of that, the staff were always friendly and incredibly helpful throughout my visit. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Kaohsiung.

Spacious rooms with tables or desks to keep your things organized. Clean, well-maintained, and in an excellent location—just a few steps from the station. It even felt better than a 5-star hotel we stayed at in Taipei!

Super convenient stay in Kao Hsiung! Convenient to walk to the Arena too, great place to stay! Only serves vegetarian breakfast but it's fine for me since I only stayed for 1 night.

Location is superb, immediately next to subway station and with pubs, restaurants, massage places all within few minutes walk. The room is spacious and clean. The machine assisted check-in is very efficient but somehow lacks the human touch and flexibility. Not a single minute of early check-in is allowed even if rooms may be available.
