Good

This is a nice hotel but it definitely needs some upgrades in the rooms. We loved the lobby area and pool. The staff was not particularly friendly when checking in. The man that helped me was not very friendly. Not rude or anything just not friendly at all during check in process. Basically asked my last name, asked for credit card and handed me my room tickets and said “floor 10” and that’s it. No smile or “welcome.” We also had to pay for parking per night which is ridiculous as this hotel has a massive private parking lot. The rooms are outdated. It was clean for the most part but I could tell the carpet needed cleaning. Room was humid and musty. Porch flooded and got the doorway carpet wet. No control over the AC unit and couldn’t adjust the temperature. Walls and furniture were scuffed and run down. White smudges on the lower bed frame. Shower floor needed a bit more cleaning. Décor is mismatched, outdated brown. Beds were comfortable though and I appreciated the double king beds. Their hotel restaurant was really good but a little expensive. $22 for the breakfast buffet. Breakfast was NOT included. My favorite thing about this hotel though is the bus that can take you to and from downtown. We were able to leave our car at the hotel and take the bus to the aquarium and restaurants in downtown without having to search around for parking. I would probably stay here again but it wouldn’t be my first pick.

The two tier pool is mainly for kids if you’re an adult forget about it unless you enjoying wading. The toilets squeal when flushed, when the adjoining room showered it had a large screeching sound in our room and the water pressure was ok not great. Air conditioner was as loud as the shower and toilet so luckily they drowned each other out. Breakfast was ok kind of expensive for options given make sure to check your bill they add a service charge also there’s no pancakes unless the chef feels like it. Dinner at the Vista was so so I’d take the trolley into Gatlinburg for dinner honestly

Great

Stayed with kids

Hotel views were great, the hotel is kind of old and may need some updating but overall was great for the price. The breakfast was good, had variety and everything was fresh. The pool water didn’t look too clean but it looked nice, kind of small so more for small kids so my teen kids didn’t use it. The trolley was convenient but crowded so we only used it once.

Fantastic

We had an excellent time and so did others in the hotel as they watch the soccer games for the world cup. We enjoyed the room service the pool time the hot tub and other amenities. We got to watch the fireworks from the pool patio area they had a gentleman who played piano in the main area. Very enjoyable and the views were spectacular and a free trolley was great. I would recommend this facility and revisit myself.

For the price this hotel is NOT worth it, housekeeping not once gave me fresh sheets or towels. I was stuck with what i got the first day and I stayed for 4 days. The room REEKED of baby food/throw up. Coffee maker wasnt even cleaned out before arrival, it had old coffee pods in it, Was missing furniture for the couch. Our ac WOULD not work. The lobby was colder then our room. Thermostat read 73 in our room. Our shower barely had warm water. It was a fight to get decent feeling water. The pool....ew. You will catch a infection being in it. Every day i tried going down there to swim, and without fail EVERY day. The pool was filthy. Clumps of hair and dirt in the pool. Bugs crawling all over the area as well as in the pool. The bar was probably the only decent area. We even tried the restaurant down stairs. Food was mediocre, we waited over 20 minutes for just drinks and then never was brought refills. The view isn't even that good. The patios are covered in green algae and water. Dont waste your time coming here. plenty of other hotels that are cheaper and so much nicer then this disgusting place. If i hadnt already paid for thrusday-monday i would have left and went to The old creek lodge. This hotel is a disgrace
