Location was superb, being right next to the train station, which was why I booked it. The public foot bath on the top floor was also very welcome, especially as I had just come in from Kamikochi. 6 mins walk away is Cafe Rin-Rin, a mom and pop cafe that felt like you were stepping back in time, and served delicious french toast. The room was comfortable and good-sized for a solo traveller, and the washing machine was a godsend. The only thing that was very annoying was the lamp sitting over the small table, as I kept hitting my head on it. It was at a very inconvenient spot and height.

Nice, clean hotel in a great location next to the station. The staff are friendly, hardworking, and very helpful! The room was a good size, and I really appreciated having our own washing machine. Breakfast was a little busy/chaotic though.

Great stay in Takayama! very near to bus and train station, hotel facilities is awesome. they even serve you beer as welcome drink until 4.30pm. Onsen was nice as well! However the staff service can be improved, we were asked to provide our passport twice without any valid reason provided. and lot of people check in and check out at the same time, may need to wait up to 15minutws.

It provided a truly relaxing way to unwind after a day of exploring. Overall, this hotel offers an unbeatable combination of comfort, convenience, and thoughtful amenities. Whether visiting for leisure or business, it’s an excellent choice for travelers seeking a stress-free stay in Takayama. Without a doubt, if I return to Takayama, this will be my hotel of choice once again.
