Below average Webooked three nights through hotels.com which wasn’t the best way to book this experience. We were never told that there was a food plan to sign up for and when we got there, we were told that it was too late, so we basically lived on the little amount of snacks we had for three days. You should book yours directly through Whites Landing and call them and ask for all of the amenities that are available to you. The wonderful people that actually work there are great and very helpful! We would definitely go again, but pay for the meal plan.

Amazing experience with very clean property! Very little contact with staff, as not many available. Experience did not include many items listed on website including campfires w/smores, difficulty understanding bedding available with booking, as well as minimal available items in gift shop for emergency items.

Unique experience to glamp on the beach! Everything was great and the food they offer is fine for camping. You can buy cold beverages and snacks from them also. Ice packs are free. Everyone works very hard here to make the experience more organic and enjoyable.

When checking in the host was unprofessional and rude. Did not give any information to us. While staying we noticed stains in the sheets, and towels.

Fantastic This was one of the most memorable places we’ve stayed. The ocean views are absolutely stunning, the tents are clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. The staff made us feel very welcome, and everything was well organized. We can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

GreatStayed with family · For friends and family
The grounds were absolutely beautiful and the staff very friendly. The reason for the 4 vs 5 stars is 1) at check in everything was not explained properly and felt very rushed (I will admit there were several people waiting) For example, no info on the daily activities. I’m not sure they even knew? Was also given wrong information on bathrooms which made an awkward situation.. 2) though this place is so beautiful it just feels like it needs some love. The little things are just looked over. For example, the shower curtains fly open at the littlest bit of wind.. a simple hook and ring would fix that. Very cheap fix and prevent guests from exposing themselves.
3) the daily activities were not everyday as advertised. Father’s Day we were there and were anticipating smores by the camp fire. They just decided now to do it I guess?… huge bummer.
Overall, the scenery was absolutely amazing and the staff always kind when chatting, but just a little more attention to detail and better communication would go a long way. So much potential!

Un excelente lugar para desconectarse del día a día, la atención muy buena de verdad. Solo una pequeña cosita y es la manera para llegar al camping es un poco complicada ya que no hay instrucciones precisas para que hacer una vez que uno llegue a Avalon.
