The reception team were very welcoming, and took us to the room filling us in with what we needed to know. Great breakfast, a delightful breakfast team with an excellent selection, and fresh local produce.
Hotel parking was easy, location for the castle and town good.
Would we go back, no question about it, afternoon tea, evening meal overnight stay, we will be back

Outstanding property, well decorated and furnished, very well maintained. Everything that was needed and more in the bedroom including delicious cookies.
Staff most welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was excellent with good choice - including Craster kippers!

The Staff were all amazing, very friendly and efficient. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean, the bed was huge and comfortable. We were very grateful for the water and the cookies in our room

The room was a great size. It was spotlessly clean. Very tasty complimentary cookies in the room which was lovely. Breakfast was wonderful. Extremely friendly and helpful staff too. Location was perfect. All in all, an extremely lovely place to stay.
