Fantastic 5.0
It is affordable but only around 8 slides are opened, it would be better to visit it after they open up every slides!

Fantastic 5.0
We had a great time with a family at the Minera resort. A place full of relaxation with a lot of mineral pool and bath. Nice forest and crodolile feeding.

Fantastic 5.0
It wasn't as big as I expected, and even on a weekday, there were quite a few people. The pool was much smaller than I thought. The view was nice since it's on a mountain.

Fantastic 5.0
The trip was enjoyable and filled with valuable learning experiences. The locations we visited were wonderful, and our tour guide, Henry, was knowledgeable, professional, and reassuring throughout the journey.

Fantastic 5.0
Our tour guide was very informative and helpful. We didn't expect to be walking 900+ steps to the hands of the Jesus Christ Statue (and another 900+ steps back down) but the view was inside breathtaking. The beach was very warm and calm. Great sights for a day tour in Vung Tau City.

What to know before visiting Vung Tau

Top things to experience in Vung Tau City

Vung Tau City is best known for its lively water parks, followed by scenic tours and cable-car rides, with a small selection of museums rounding out the list. Demand rises and falls through the year, peaking in June when activities are busiest and dropping to the quietest point around November.

What different travellers tend to enjoy here

Families will likely head straight for the water parks — they dominate bookings and are ideal for kids and group-friendly fun. Couples often pick tours and cable-car experiences for scenic views and relaxed outings. Solo travellers and small groups can find budget-friendly museum visits alongside reasonably priced cable-car rides; tours offer a wider range if you want something more varied.

What travellers from Hong Kong should book ahead

Most things in Vung Tau City can be picked up at short notice, but the earliest planners still book about a day ahead, and that matters most in June when demand peaks. If you’re travelling in the busiest period, locking in popular tours and cable-car slots a little earlier will help avoid sold-out times.

How categories compare on price and appeal

Museums are the easiest, lowest-cost entry point for budget-minded visitors, while tours sit at the pricier end and also offer the widest range of options — from simple guided outings to more premium experiences. Cable cars fall into the mid-range, attractive for couples and sightseeing-focused travellers. Water parks skew family-friendly and sit comfortably in the mid-to-entry price band, making them the go-to choice for group fun.
