Mr. Kim was a very responsible and professional tour guide. We really enjoyed our trip! He guided us throughout the entire journey and made sure we arrived at each destination and returned on time. The views were beautiful, and the alpacas were absolutely adorable! Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we truly appreciate Mr. Kim’s excellent service.

Very nice day trip, a bit of a tight schedule 😄 Our guide Zero always got us to our destination on time and with a lot of energy and fun. The tour is highly recommended if you want to check off all the sights in one day. If you prefer a more relaxed pace, I would choose a tour with only 2 destinations. All in all, a great tour!

We had a wonderful experience with this tour! Our guide, Judy, was friendly, efficient, and kept everything running smoothly throughout the day. My favorite part was seeing the alpacas, and Nami Island was such a cute place to explore. We also paid extra for the zip line, and it was absolutely worth it! The garden was beautiful, with hydrangeas in full bloom. Everything was made easy and stress-free thanks to the tour company. Thank you, Judy, for a great day!

We had a fantastic day with our tour guide Max. He was such a pleasant and entheusiastic guide. His communication with us was 10 out of 10. He gave us a clear overview of our day and filled us with his knowledge at each area. He was so calm and really wanted us to take it all in and get many pictures and know the background of the culture. We had plently of picture and exploring opportunities and our safety was also paramount to him. He was considetate of our toilet and snack breaks. He was so happy to have us in his country and wanted us to know more about it and gave personal recommendations of sites and restaurants to visit. Any queries we had during our time here he was happy for us to contact him for any info we wanted! How kind of him! We had a fantastic coach as well as coach driver who was puntual at all our destinations and drove very carefully in the rain and traffic for the 3 hour drives each way. Thanks Max for making it such a fabulous day!

We had a wonderful experience with our guide, Brian. His English is excellent, and he was incredibly helpful, sharing fascinating insights into Korean culture and daily life during the pickup and throughout the trip. We visited all the scenic spots, enjoyed feeding the adorable alpacas, and had a fun and pleasant rail ride with beautiful natural views along the way and the happy bubble tunnel was really magical! The all-you-can-eat grilled chicken lunch was delicious, and our romantic walk around Nami Island was a highlight. Brian’s hospitality was truly unbeatable, and we highly recommend both this trip and Brian to anyone visiting Korea! A 6-star experience! 👍🏻

1. Metasequoia Lane

Perhaps the most iconic spot on Nami Island, this tree-lined pathway is famous for its towering metasequoia trees that change beautifully with each season. In spring and summer, it's lush and green; in autumn, it blazes with fiery orange and red leaves; and in winter, it becomes a dreamy snow-covered tunnel. It's also a favorite filming location for Korean dramas, including Winter Sonata.

4. Nami Island Art and Cultural Spaces

5. Central Korean Pine Tree Lane

This lane is shaded by tall pine trees and is less crowded than Metasequoia Lane. It's perfect for a quiet walk and a great spot for photos in all seasons, especially with snow in winter.

6. Wildlife Encounters

Nami Island is home to friendly animals such as squirrels, rabbits, peacocks, and ducks that roam freely. Kids especially enjoy spotting and feeding them while exploring the island.

The Best Time to Visit Nami Island: Seasons In Nami Island

Spring in Nami Island (March to May)

Spring transforms Nami Island into a pastel wonderland, with cherry blossoms, magnolias, and forsythias blooming across the island. The iconic Metasequoia Lane and riverside paths are lined with fresh greenery, creating a dreamy backdrop for photos. The weather is mild, making it perfect for cycling, strolling, and picnicking. Spring is one of the best times to visit Nami Island, especially in early to mid-April when cherry blossoms are at their peak.

Summer in Nami Island (June to August)

During summer, Nami Island is full of lush greenery, offering a refreshing escape from the heat. The towering metasequoia and ginkgo trees provide natural shade, making it pleasant for outdoor activities like bike rides, boat rides, and ziplining. You can also cool off by kayaking or paddleboarding along the Bukhan River. While summer can be warm and humid, occasional showers make the island feel even more tropical and vibrant. The longer daylight hours allow visitors to explore more, and seasonal flower gardens add pops of color to the landscape.

Autumn in Nami Island (September to November)

In the fall season, Nami Island's landscape is painted in red, orange, and golden hues. The Metasequoia Lane, Ginkgo Tree Lane, and Maple Garden become fiery tunnels of color, attracting photographers and nature lovers. The crisp air and mild temperatures make it perfect for walking, biking, and outdoor cafés. Mid-to-late October is the peak season for autumn foliage, and the island can get crowded, so visiting early in the morning is best.

Winter in Nami Island (December to February)

Winter turns Nami Island into a snowy wonderland, with frost-covered trees and icy river views creating a serene atmosphere. The island's bare metasequoia trees stand tall against the snow, offering a stunning, peaceful sight. Visitors can enjoy snow-covered trails, cozy cafés with hot drinks, and the famous Winter Sonata photo spots. Although temperatures drop below freezing, the island feels magical, especially after a fresh snowfall. Don't forget to bundle up for the chilly but beautiful experience!
