Hotels near Chikan Tower

Recently stayed at 泊樂行旅赤崁 and appreciated the attentive staff and the luggage storage service they provide. The hotel is within walking distance of 赤崁 Tower and 永樂 Market, which is perfect for sightseeing and local food. The spacious lobby is a nice place to sit and relax, especially for short stays. Guests can also use the water dispenser for refills, and tea bags are available. Besides, the bathroom has separate wet and dry areas, which is quite convenient. The only drawback is that the room key is a traditional metal key rather than a key card, but the hotel offers front-desk key-holding service, which helps make things easier.

The hotel room was spacious, and the breakfast was excellent. It's only a 7-minute walk from the train station, so the hotel's location is fantastic. However, when we first checked in, the TV wasn't working at all. We immediately notified the front desk, and an employee was quickly dispatched to fix the issue. The service attitude was very good.

The price is a bit high for a backpacker, but the facilities are very upscale, and it even includes late-night snacks and refreshments, so the value for money is still very high.

The location is great, within walking distance of Chihkan Tower, and there's also a parking lot, so no worries about parking. The main thing is that the breakfast is delicious, and there's a snack bar too. It's highly recommended, though the bed is a bit soft!

This time, I stayed in Tainan for a business trip, and I chose Kindness Day Hotel Chihkan Tower because of its location in the downtown business district and the provision of breakfast and dinner. On the day of arrival, the friendly staff at the front desk helped us with the check-in procedures. There are two elevators, and the room and toilet are very clean, especially the spacious bathroom with a separate shower and toilet. There are many sockets in the room, so there is no need to fight with colleagues for charging. The desk is very spacious, and there is more than enough space for two people's luggage, souvenirs, and takeaway meals. The hot water temperature and water pressure were OK when I took a shower at night, and the ventilation was good. The air conditioner had a running sound but was acceptable, and the coldness was sufficient. When I first entered the room, there was a bit of a musty smell, especially in the closet, but the smell was removed after opening the window and turning on the strongest air conditioning. There are a lot of people dining during both meal periods, so you may need to register for a waiting list. When there are seats available, the staff will call the room to notify you to go downstairs to eat. The restaurant is not amazing, but it is enough to fill you up. There is a beer machine for dinner.

The Kangqiao Chihkan Tower branch has a great location and the rooms are neat and clean. There are generous midnight snacks and breakfast. Using LOOK for reservations is convenient and fast.

The hotel service is great and the breakfast is delicious. Highly recommended and I would stay here again. It's not too far from the city center and Guohua Street. The Hayashi Department Store across the street is a good place to buy souvenirs.

They also have bikes to borrow, the rooms are clean, I ate the late-night snack as dinner, and the breakfast was super plentiful. The free room upgrade was awesome 👍. I recommend everyone stay here next time they come to Tainan.
