Temples at Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary

Pura Dalem Agung Padangtegal

This is the main temple in the southwest part of the sanctuary, dedicated to Shiva, a Hindu god. Many pilgrims visit this spiritual place, and a group of crab-eating macaques lives here too. You can admire the temple's grand design and intricate artwork, which reflect Bali's rich spiritual traditions.

Pura Beji

Found in the northwest of the park, Pura Beji is a famous temple for spiritual and physical cleansing. Nearby is a holy spring, especially important before religious events.

Pura Prajapati

Located in the northeastern area, near the cremation grounds, Pura Prajapati is dedicated to Prajapati, a Vedic god, and plays a key role in traditional Balinese funeral rites.
