Gyeongju

This was a great experience. My sisters and I booked the full day hanbok rental. Since we are all tall (between 168-175cm), the staff told us where to find the hanbok skirts for our height and explained the shirt sizing, etc. The lady that helped dress us was very quick and the hairstyling was also very fast. The result was so beautiful and we felt like princesses. We got so many compliments walking around and even had a group ask where we had gotten our hanbok rental. Since we did the full day rental we were also able to send one picture per person that they printed out for us when we returned. 10/10 highly recommend.

When you come to Jade's kitchen, you feel right at home! She explains simply and step by step how to create the best and local Gimbap. The ingredients are super fresh and there is absolutely enough even for a second round in the evening ☺️ I had a lot of fun and would definitely recommend it!

this was super fun. the village itself is really pretty and interesting and the guys here were really friendly and talked us through the whole process while letting us try everything.

I just finished the Gyeongju World Heritage One-Day Tour, and it was an incredibly worthwhile experience! Starting with Bulguksa Temple's exquisite stone architecture and thousand-year-old Buddhist art, I was deeply impressed by the grandeur of the Silla Dynasty. Then, strolling through Yangdong Village, the traditional Korean houses and tranquil ancient village atmosphere felt like traveling back in time to the Joseon Dynasty. The Cheonmachong Tomb and the ancient burial mounds at Daereungwon offered a powerful historical impact, with each mound telling stories from a millennium ago. Finally, admiring the night view at Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond, and Woljeong Bridge, the lake illuminated by lights was as beautiful as a painting—truly therapeutic! Our guide, Lena, was professional and engaging. She perfectly connected Gyeongju's most essential World Heritage sites in one day, with just the right amount of time, never feeling rushed, yet incredibly fulfilling. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves history, culture, and beautiful scenery; it will definitely be one of the most unforgettable days of your trip to Korea!

Our tour guide, Ethan, was fantastic and amazing! We had him for the 8 hours of this tour. He had great energy, very kind and made sure everyone had a great time. He even waited for my Mother and I to reunite with the group before we headed to the next stop as we ended up getting lost a little bit during free roaming. He made sure we were safe and also had everyone stay comfy and warm as we experienced lots of rain and cold, freezing snow weather throughout halfway of the tour. You’d be lucky to have him as your tour guide if you take this tour. Was worth exploring Gyeongju for our first time!

I went with my friend to that tour on March 7th and we both had lots of fun. We were a small group which felt more intimate so it was easier to hear our guide. By the way if you’re able to choose your guide I recommend Yaho. He really has the knowledge, experience and the passion for a tour guide. I’ve learned so much more about Korean history from him and it also helps that he’s originally from Busan. Our itinerary was Ahopsan Forest, Bulguska Temple, Gyochon village, Daereungwon Tomb and Woljeong Bridge. Additionally we also had a food market for a free time in the end of the trip. Yaho really took care for both me and my friend for a restaurant that has vegetarian options which is really considerate from him. I had a variety to choose from which I’m truly grateful for. I really recommend joining this tour and Yaho as a tour guide.

Steven was a great guide, we was dedicated, friendly and had lots to tell us. 👍🏼👍🏼 He was also very good at taking pictures! Good framing! And a good driver :)

Had an amazing day in Gyeongju with Simon as our guide, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Simon was really passionate and explained the history of Gyeongju and each of the plces we visited in detailed while guiding us, and helped us to take pictures too. As a solo traveler, this small-group photo tour was perfect for me. I was able to enjoy the scenery, learn detailed stories about each place, and have beautiful photos of myself taken as lasting memories. Jesse was an all-in-one package — tour guide, driver, and photographer. Despite traffic jams during the Chuseok holiday and a few attractions being closed, he stayed calm, organized, and made the experience enjoyable. All the photos he took were amazing. Highly recommended and absolutely worth it.
