Fantastic 5.0
Our itinerary for this trip was: starting from Tenjin city center ➡️ Itoshima Hana Shio Pudding ➡️ Meoto Iwa (Wedded Rocks) at Futamigaura ➡️ Tsukamoto Fish Market ➡️ Miyajidake Shrine ➡️ Munakata Shrine. The driver was very thoughtful! His service attitude was incredibly friendly! He even recommended a delicious seafood restaurant, which my family also thoroughly enjoyed 👍🏽 The car was clean and tidy, and the entire journey went smoothly and perfectly 💯

A truly wonderful excursion! The guide was friendly and the organization was well done. I really enjoyed Dazaifu and Arita, which is a charming town. I highly recommend this activity. 😊

Fantastic 5.0
This tour was very fun and insightful! Although the time we went on the tour for cherry blossom viewing was too early as there are very limited trees that are in full bloom, we still had a great time seeing the breathtaking sights and wonderful scenery in every location in the itinerary. Nicole, our tour guide, was also very knowledgeable, kind, and accommodating all throughout the tour. We were the only english speakers within our group and yet we didn’t really feel left out as she took her time to explain to us every detail about the stories behind each location. She also shared various recommendations of which places to go to and what food to eat (that we enjoyed very much) and took really good pictures of us. Definitely recommend this tour for those who’ll be coming over to Fukuoka during the peak sakura season in Japan! 🌸🩷

Upon booking Mr Vincent of Klook was very attentive on arranging our preferred places to go. everything is on point even the day before our tour he made sure everything is properly coordinated with our guide Mr.Jaerek. Also Mr Jaerek is our guide for 2 days as we visit Saga and Fukuoka. very efficient and easy to communicate with, he drives carefully and we had a smooth ride, we enjoyed our travel so the two of them deserve a five star rating⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐...kudos for the great job!

Fantastic 5.0
The location is convenient, close to the JR station, and there's free parking available. There are several convenience stores nearby, and department stores and shopping malls are just a few minutes' drive away. The hot springs are open until midnight and aren't crowded; you can even check how many people are in the hot springs on the TV. The room is spacious. Overall, it's excellent.

What to know before visiting Takeo

Discover Takeo’s relaxed cultural highlights

Takeo is a laid-back destination known for its strong demand for Tours and Museums, with an annual rhythm that peaks late in the year and dips in early summer. Most bookings cluster around guided experiences and museum visits, so expect the city’s cultural sights to draw the biggest crowds when demand rises.

When to visit: busiest months and price patterns

Klook booking data shows demand peaks in November and is at its lowest in June; late-year months feel busiest while early summer sees far fewer visitors. Prices follow a mixed pattern: the cheapest months on Klook tend to be July–September, while a notable price spike appears around May. For lower prices and smaller crowds, consider travelling in July–September; for peak-season atmosphere and the liveliest scene, aim for November. Where demand and price diverge, July–September offers low prices despite modest demand, while May can be relatively expensive even though it isn’t the busiest month.

Tips for travellers from Hong Kong

Most travellers book roughly two weeks ahead, with many locking plans about 14 days before travel and some booking up to about a month early for extra security. If you prefer flexibility, short-notice bookings are possible—last-minute options commonly appear within around three days—but for travel in November you may want to plan earlier. Use Klook to compare Tours and museum tickets and secure your preferred time slots without overcommitting.
