Fantastic 5.0
On time pick up. Our guide Bikram is knowledgeable and driver Suraj is safe in driving making the day tour smooth and comfortable. Hiking speed just nice for me and my wife. Hike terrain is easy to navigate. Weather is kind to us although we did not manage to see the sun raise and Himalaya mountains due to heavy fog.

This was an extremely fulfilling tour that covered 7 World Heritage Sites in a single day. Our guide, Rustam, was kind, knowledgeable, and above all, had a wonderful smile. If you take this tour, please be sure to request Rustam! I hear he also works as a mountain guide! Some of the World Heritage Sites are quite expansive or have many different highlights, making it very difficult for a traveler to visit all 7 in one day on their own. In that sense, this tour is efficient, and being able to listen to the guide's explanations about the history and deities of each ruin helps deepen your understanding of Nepalese culture. Also, I am deeply grateful for the incredible flexibility they showed—such as stopping by a souvenir shop I wanted to visit, treating me to the Ju Ju Dhau I had been wanting to try, and playing Nepalese pop music in the car at my request! I highly recommend everyone take this tour and experience the cultural richness and beauty of Nepal!

Our visit to Chandragiri Hills was excellent. Although cloud cover and fog prevented us from seeing Kathmandu, our guide Bikram more than compensated with his extensive knowledge and engaging storytelling. He provided fascinating insights into the site's historical significance, shared detailed explanations of Buddhism and Hinduism, and thoughtfully explained how the two traditions interact and coexist. Bikram's expertise and enthusiasm made the experience memorable. We highly recommend him as a tour guide.

Having Rustam Khulal as our tour guide for Patan and Bhaktapur was a fantastic experience. He provided deep insights into Newari culture and the glorious history of the Kathmandu Valley from the 15th to 18th centuries. It was fascinating to learn about the rich artistry, advanced silver craftsmanship, and incredible water system engineering that went into building these heritage sites

Fantastic 5.0
I had a very short layover but I booked the tour when I landed late at night and next morning we met at 0830 and finished at 1800, it was just me and another spanish lady, along with our guide Mr. Rajan and driver Mr. Ram. We visited 7 UNESCO heritage sites which included the ones which were destroyed in the 2015 earthquake. Mr. Rajan told us about the history about how Kathmandu came into place and it was earlier as Kasthamandap and the temple it was named after. There on he was super supportive of us while we wanted to click pictures and he has absolute knowledge about the sites and clearly states the significance of it all. He informed us about the largest stupa-Boudhnath Stupa in the world, Oldest Hindu Temple-Changunarayan Temple, and the tallest standing temple that survived the 2015 earthquake Nyatopola, Bhaktapur Temple. He is and excellent photographer and will direct you to the best Momo in Nepal. I truly recommend him for Kathmandu tours. Keep growing Mr. Rajan! JMMJMM :))

Fantastic 5.0
I booked the tour about a week in advance, and it was very reassuring to be able to communicate directly with the tour operator via WhatsApp beforehand. Their responses were very prompt, and they not only sent the e-ticket but also genuinely helped with rescheduling options in case of bad weather cancellations, which allowed me to feel at ease on the day of the tour. On the day, the pickup arrived 10 minutes after the scheduled time, but it seemed that 10 minutes later was the actual pickup time, so we arrived at the airport without any issues. Regarding seating, although everyone was guaranteed a window seat, it was a bit disappointing that I unfortunately ended up with a seat directly over the wing when checking in at the airport counter. Also, it was quite cloudy on the morning of the tour, and I was worried it might be canceled, but after waiting for the weather to clear at the airport, we took off safely. Once airborne, I was incredibly moved to witness the magnificent, clear view of Mount Everest with not a single cloud in sight—it was beyond words. The wing, which I had been concerned about, didn't turn out to be a significant obstruction to the view. After the flight, I received a commemorative certificate, and I was able to meet up with the driver smoothly for the return trip. The support, from pre-tour assistance to on-the-day follow-up, was excellent, and I'm truly glad I went. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see the spectacular views of the Himalayas up close.

We spent our last day in Kathmandu doing this activity— and it was worth it! The tour starts on time as directed by the provider, they proceeded the tour despite we were only ones that attended. We were very lucky to have clearing at the Nagarkot Viewing Spot. (which is the first stop). This activity involves hiking, trekking, walking, and driving. Our amazing guide made everything fun and interactive, he was very knowledgeable. We were guided down from Nagarkot Bus Stop to Buddha Peace Park after breakfast. Then, they drove us to Rani Jhula that had a long suspension bridge and great view of the city. Then, they drove us to starting point of the hike in Telkot to Changu Narayan which offers both nature and villages view, a dog also accompanied us up. Our guide was very enthusiastic in offering information about the place. Lastly, we arrived at Changu Narayan which had a beautiful temple complex, our guide explained the history of the temple. Overall, book this and never regret!

What to know before visiting Bhaktapur

What Bhaktapur is best known for

Bhaktapur is a compact destination where Tours lead visitor activity, according to Klook booking data, so most travellers explore the city with guided day trips and cultural excursions. The year's rhythm shows steady interest rather than sharp seasonality, letting you pick quieter moments for a relaxed visit or busier periods for fuller atmospheres. For planning choices, choose whether you want tranquillity or festival-like energy. Klook booking data suggests Tours are the primary way to experience Bhaktapur’s heritage and craft scenes, so base your stay around times when guided activities run at the pace you prefer.

When to visit and price seasonality

Bhaktapur's demand pattern is relatively even across the year, with no single extreme peak month dominating Klook booking data; smaller crowds appear in quieter parts of the year while busier months bring a livelier scene. Prices on Klook drift through the calendar rather than spiking dramatically, so months with lower demand also tend to show typically lower median prices. If you want fewer people and gentler prices, aim for the quieter months; if you prefer peak-season atmosphere, travel in busier months when guided Tours run more frequently.

Month Demand Level Typical Price
January About average NPR 2,500
February About average NPR 2,600

September About average NPR 2,500
October About average NPR 3,100
November About average NPR 3,200
December About average NPR 3,300

Demand is bookings in that month compared with a typical month, from historical Klook booking data, grouped into the demand levels above; typical price is the median paid on Klook in that month; prices are shown with their currency code. Klook booking data.

Tips for travellers from Hong Kong

Most travellers book their Bhaktapur activities about 20 days ahead, and the earliest planners also book roughly 20 days out, according to Klook booking data. That means you should treat bookings as a short-to-medium planning task: lock in must-do Tours a few weeks before travel, especially during busier months when availability tightens. For flexibility, many experiences remain bookable closer to departure, but securing your preferred time on Klook about three weeks ahead gives the best balance of choice and convenience. Use Klook to compare Tours and confirm reservations before you travel.
