Things to do in Taipei

The tour to Yehliu and Jiufen/Shifen was wonderful. The places are beautiful, and the guide arranged everything smoothly while also giving great tips on what to buy and what local food to try. Unfortunately, it rained on the day of the tour, which was a bit disappointing, but overall it was still an enjoyable experience.

The gondola ride is about 22 minutes one way, and even though the total length of the gondola is a little over 4km, it wasn't boring at all. Rather, I was impressed that it was longer than other places. There are places to get off and on in the middle such as a zoo, temple, and walking course, and it is one of the best things I've booked on Klook so far. I was surprised that I didn't hear any Korean while traveling in Taipei, perhaps because it is not yet well known to Koreans. If you go up to the end, there are tea houses and restaurants, so it seems like a good place to relax.

We used the Korean audio guide at the National Palace Museum, and I think other languages would be the same way, entering numbers... but there were many things without numbers, and the famous Dongpo pork wasn't there. The cabbage was on display, but there was no number written on it, but my daughter accidentally pressed 333 and the explanation came on, haha. If you just walk by without an explanation, you wouldn't know what it is, so we used the audio guide, but it wasn't very helpful and it was hard to concentrate. It would be more convenient and faster to look at it with a translator.

I really enjoyed my visit to Taipei Zoo and Maokong Gondola — both experiences were absolutely worth it! The zoo is spacious, clean, and very well-maintained. I loved how close you can get to the animals, especially the pandas and different Asian wildlife. Despite the size of the zoo, it’s easy to explore, and the entrance fee is very affordable, making it great for all ages. After the zoo, riding the Maokong Gondola made the day even better. The cable car ride was smooth and relaxing, and the views of the mountains and the city were stunning. The crystal-cabins with the glass floor made the experience extra fun and exciting. Once you reach Maokong, there are plenty of tea houses and scenic spots to enjoy.

Fun day here at Taipei Amusement Park! Redeeming is easy, you just need to go to the information center and scan your qr code to get the wrist ticket. The park is huge with multiple floors. They have indoor playgrounds, and so many rides. It also has a food court with different selections. Complete with washing areas for kids. Very enjoyable and affordable.

nice activity in beitou! Walking distance from beitou station. facility is clean and private. the onsen is so relaxing perfect for the cold weather!

it is easy to get there by train then take bus to hotel. has different pool and no need to bring anything else, except swimming suits. after a soak we walked down to thermal valley , just a few minutes and had spring egg abefore entry. then walked down along stream to new beitou train station and transferred to tasmui and hired a bike to fish man wharf , just on time to watch sunset. had a great time

Few minutes walk from Xinbeitou Station Mrt. Great place to experience Natural Hot Spring. We booked a private room for 90 minutes for 2 person for good price. Few walk from here is Beitou hot spring museum and thermal valley
