    Brunch in Hong Kong is much like the city itself: a little bit over the top but ultimately loads of fun. It’s no secret, however, that sustaining your brunch addiction can be a pricey hobby. If you’re looking for brunch deals that won’t break the bank but still send you into that sweet, sweet food coma, you’ve come to the right place. We put together a list of budget-friendly brunches on Hong Kong Island to dig into this month.

    We didn’t know we needed lassi free-flow until we saw it on Chaiwala’s brunch menu but now we can’t stop dreaming about it. With one curry, one tandoor, one briyani and a selection of appetizers and sweets, this has got to be one of the best value for money brunch deals on Hong Kong island! Plus, plenty of yummy vegetarian options available in every food category. 
    • When: Weekends and public holidays, 11:30AM – 2:00PM
    • Price: HK$298 for food, additional HK$120 for lassi free flow or HK$ 180 for classic free flow

    Seafood lovers, rejoice! FEAST’s famous all you can eat dinners are now available for brunch time as well! Enjoy a wide array of fresh seafood, including fresh shucked oysters, crab legs, prawns, sashimi and sushi, in a beautiful setting at the EAST hotel.

    Italian food can come with a hefty price tag in Hong Kong but this affordable brunch at 208 Duecento Otto will let you eat your tiramisu and have it too. Start your feast with a wide selection of yummy appetisers, from cold cuts to hot Mussels Marinara. The main dish is going to be a tough call between Linguine with Hokkaido scallop, Pork Mangalica Ribs, Atlantic Black Cod and other delicious options. Best to bring a couple of friends and share it all!

    Ruam has the ultimate secret garden vibe and that’s exactly what we’re looking for this summer. Relax on the outdoor patio as the ever-friendly Ruam team bring in a selection of their best bites. Bonus points for a thoughtful free flow that includes both alcoholic drinks and delicious soft drinks like Thai ice tea so you don’t have to choose what you’re in the mood for.

    We’ve got two words for you: unlimited tacos. Yup, you heard that right! Te Quiero Mucho is serving up an all-you-can-eat brunch with unlimited tacos and mains (and the obligatory churros to end with). All tacos are delightful but the baja-style fish Pescado has a special place in our hearts. If you love a fierce game of Uno or two, don’t forget to ask for the boardgame menu!

    6. Madame Fù

    For their weekend brunch, Madame Fù has designed a truly indulgent menu centered around two Hong Kong classics: peking duck and dim sum. With unlimited duck, a dim sum trolley, one appetiser and one main per person, plus dessert, this brunch deal is as luxurious as it gets without breaking the bank. All this in some of the prettiest interiors on Hong Kong Island!
    • When: Saturdays and Sundays: 11AM - 5PM (duck station starts at 12:00PM)

    Madame Fù

    Taqueria Super Macho’s brunch is only available once a month but it’s worth the wait (and regularly sells out so book early)! The summer-special Baja Beach Brunch includes Huevos Divorciados with rib-eye, the crowd-favorite Crispy Fish Tacos and pitchfuls of ice cold margaritas to wash it all down with. 
    • When: Every second Sunday of the month, from 12PM (next one August 8)
    • Price: HK$448 for food and drinks (classic margaritas, beers and agua frescas) 
    Taqueria Super Macho

    Close your eyes and the flavors at Pirata might just take you back to your favorite trattoria in Italy. The weekend brunch menu features signatures such as My Mama’s Meatballs, Lasagne alla Bolognese and the vegetarian-friendly Eggplant Parmigiana. Leave some room for dessert: the tiramisu is divine!

    Pirata

    If you’re a paella fan, you know that finding a good paella that won’t break the bank is almost impossible in Hong Kong. Enter La Paloma Brunch. With all you can eat chicken and seafood paella and suckling pig paella, on top of a wide selection of tapas and a crowd-favorite Basque cheesecake, this is a brunch deal not to be missed. Their Brazilian-Japanes Brunch da Rua starts off with sushi and street snacks before it brings out the showstoppers: pork ribs and roasted salmon to share. Turn it into a real party with free-flow bubbles and beers and you’ve got yourself one of the best brunches on Hong Kong Island!

Enjoy a Weekend Brunch Buffet extravaganza with fresh oysters, mussels, sushi and sashimi, and a carving station with rib eye and gammon ham. Hope you left some room for dessert because there’s a waffle station and ice cream on offer. All this served in gorgeous Victorian-style interiors.
