Mt. Fuji & Lake Kawaguchi Area Bus Tour from Tokyo

Excellent tour! Covered all the highlights of Lake Kawaguchi and the 5th station of Mt Fuji in a day! Unfortunately, a clear view of Mt Fuji eluded us on the day but the Mt Fuji Melon bread at the 5th station is a MUST. The bus was very comfortable and both our guide and driver were fantastic. The bread lunch option was very substantial, we had 3 large portions of delicious baked goods and a drink. Would highly recommend this tour.

The trip is wonderful and enjoyable. The tourist guide is also very friendly and interesting. We chose the buffet dinner, which is nice. The restaurant faces the mountain, and we can look to it during eating. Very good experience. This trip is strongly recommended and we are looking to join another trip in future.

This was my first time participating in this Mt. Fuji tour. Mr. Sojiro served as our tour guide for the 36 foreign customers and 2.3 Japanese customers. They made this precious occasion a grand and fun atmosphere with great care and attention. It was wonderful, and my father, who was seeing Mt. Fuji for the first time, had a great time and was smiling the whole time, looking like he was full of moonlight! Thank you very much ^ ^ Most of the people will be surrounded by foreigners, but it's a lively and fun space that you don't often experience lolAlso, the tour guide will explain carefully in Japanese as well. , don't worry. The tour guide Mayami was extremely friendly and helpful! She really tried her best to explain and introduce the best views and background of Mount Fuji to all of us, and she was willing to provide a helping hand for any queries from us! Besides, the tour itself was so price worthy with great views and fruitful arrangement, I must say it was totally better than my expectations! Must reaffirm here has really best guide tour and driver and wonderful itinerary!

This tour only has one attraction in the morning and one in the afternoon, so you don’t have to rush to make the itinerary, which is very comfortable. The tour guide explained carefully. Each stop at the scenic spot clearly indicates where to get on the bus. There will be a stop on the way out and back, where everyone will stay for 15 minutes to use the restroom or buy drinks and snacks. We saw Mount Fuji on the way there, but when we arrived at the fifth station and beyond, it was too foggy and covered by clouds so we couldn’t see it. This time I ordered a pasta lunch, which came with salad appetizers and desserts. However, the pasta for the main dish didn’t have any meat. /Mushrooms, very light. There is a big gap between the photos on the official website, which is a bit unexpected. The afternoon cable car and boat cruise on Lake Kawaguchi are included in the fee. It took half an hour each to queue up and take the cable car up and down the mountain. The space at the top of the mountain is very small. You can take photos and buy snacks in 20 minutes. The most time-consuming thing is waiting in line for the cable car. But the more than 3 hours of free time in the afternoon trip is very enough, and it is also enough to take the cruise after going down the mountain. The scenery of Lake Kawaguchi is very beautiful.

The tour to fujisan was amazing, we saw it from many different perspectives, were able to take many pictures (of fuji and other beautiful places), and also, just appreciate fuji peaceful feel. The bus was comfortable, our driver was always sharp on time and very kind. Our guide was amazing, very knowledgeable on many different topics about Japan and Fuji. On the locations, she was very careful to let us know where were the main attractions and bus location. She even took some amazing photos of us. As fuji 5th station was unaccessible, we had a change of initerary, that was communicated very early. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend this one day trip to anyone. The bus is clean, nice seat and warm. Our tour guide provided useful information about the trip. We were lucky to see fuji san and completed all activities.

we went to different locations to admire Mt Fuji. i would say that the 5th station is the best and nearest. just hope that it would not be too cloudy at that time of your tour. Our schedule was on time as Japanese are known for being punctual. Lake Kawaguchico looks like a postcard too 😍
