The Moorish Castle is magnificent both from afar and up close. The views from the top are excellent, making it well worth a visit. It's very convenient to book your tickets on Klook in advance; you can just show your QR code for entry.
Part of the area was under renovation when I visited. Overall, it's really beautiful, a bit like the Great Wall. Be careful when walking, as there are no handrails here. However, it's a great spot for taking photos! It can get very windy sometimes, so be careful your hat doesn't blow away!
Quite exciting. Not as long as expected. However, it was very windy and the scenery was nice and open. In addition, the Great Wall has no handrails, so walking on it is quite scary.
A great experience, but not suitable for those who are afraid of heights. The wind is very strong along the way. Wearing a hat is not recommended. My friend’s hat was blown away here.
The castle is very majestic, and the scenery overlooking the city from a high place is beautiful. It is cheaper and more convenient to buy tickets with klook. It is highly recommended.
This place is worth coming, but it is best to match the Pena Palace time. Because it's just a 15-minute walk below the Pena Palace.
Fabulous trip up to the Moorish Castle and one of the highest points in Sintra. Lovely view. We walked up from the historic centre with younger children which took about 50 minutes but they really enjoyed the adventure (although could be a bit far to walk for some - buses, tuk tuk and taxis on offer if not). Highly recommend!
It is worth going to, but it's a bit confusing once you're inside. There are a bunch of unmarked paths winding through the castle area. It would be nice if there were signs and or maps posted at various points on the Castle grounds. download a map of the area before you go.
