What to expect
Every city seems to transform before your very eyes during the evening, and Kathmandu is no exception. Discover a whole new side to the city when you tour it via rickshaw in the evening! Starting with a meetup at the Electric Pagoda Cafe for some light refreshments, you and your English speaking guide will head to through the bustling streets of Thamel, Indra Chowk, and Asan Tole to the marketplace. See how the locals crowd the evening marketplaces shopping for nearly everything anyone could need, from food to clothing and trinkets and more! You'll pull to a stop near the grand boulevards of Narayanhiti Path and Durbar Marg. From here, get a chance to view the most splendid evening views of the city while learning about these famous streets and how they lead to the Royal Palace of Narayanhiti and the Narayanhiti Museum. Afterwards, stop for some more delicious treats from the famous Coffee Shop & Cake Shop at Hotel De'l Annapurna, which is famous for its sweet delights. Your night around the town ends with a drop off back at the Electric Pagoda Cafe, or at your hotel if you opted for a round trip transfer via rickshaw.

Reviews
The riksha tour was supposed to last more than three hours, but the tour guide tried to finish it after one hour. I insisted on the continuation and then the three hours were delivered (it does not mean that the riksha had to move us three hours long because we walked quite a lot by foot). The explanations of the tour guide were like "This is [unclear sounds], this is temple, this is people, this is towra (tower)", that is, totally useless and often unclear. No communication was possible in most cases because the tour guide did not understand me and I did not understand him. Also, I found it strange that the tour guide came with dirt on his face. Well, at least he made some photos of me and we visited some temples with a beautiful illumination. I could not communicate with riksha because he spoke no English (which is OK if the tour guide speaks it, but mine knew only very few English words).
It is best for you to go online and find the local travel agency website to purchase the itinerary. The price-performance ratio will be better if you go with one company. The actual trip duration is only one-third of the one shown on the Klook app. It was originally expected to be a 3-hour night tour, starting at 17:45 and ending at 17:45. We returned to the hotel at 21:00; but in fact it was just a dusk tour, and the tour guide and rickshaw did not arrive on time. As soon as we arrived at 18:00, we were told that the trip would only last an hour and a half, but we were finally sent back to the hotel at 19:00. We spent most of this trip only on the rickshaw, and we only got off the bus 4 times in total. Every time we got off the bus, the tour guide only said two minutes, two minutes. Time, helpless tips should be given!
Terrible experience. We waited 45 minutes for the pick up making numerous calls. No guide what so ever. We stopped twice for the guide to do personal shopping while we sat in the rickshaws. Once in an electronic store and one to buy food for himself. Don't waste your money. Total rip off.
Hi, we thank you for raising your concerns and sharing feedback on your experience - it is regrettable that things weren't up to your expectations for your booking for the Kathmandu Evening Rickshaw Tour. This isn't what we'd hoped to hear and will be taking this as honest, constructive feedback to share within the team and merchant. What we'll do for you, is report this back to the merchant on your behalf. That said, we thank you once again for choosing to book with Klook and we hope to serve you again. Sincerely, Sya
In contrary to the tour’s description, what I got was a tour speaking guide who hire a rickshaw driver for me. Not snacks were on offer and the only commentators was the occasional question of ‘nice right?’ In between his phone calls or naps. I was done by 7:30pm, honestly not sure how the tour listed duration between 5:45 to 9pm.

Tour guide always busy on his phone, only answers when questions are asked. Doesn’t bother to take any initiative
Hi Zong You, Thank you for taking the time to let us know of your experience with your activity at Kathmandu Evening Rickshaw Tour. It is definitely a bummer when something doesn't go as expected. Great! On-time, the guide, Ram, is knowledgeable about Nepal with more than 10years experience. He’s also a good photographer, can help U take photos👍👍. All information about getting around Nepal, especially Kathmandu and Pokhara U can ask him as well!
Basic tour in a dirty rickshaw, pretty basic. Definitely felt sorry for the guy pedalling. My guide was supposed to drop me back to my hotel as I paid extra for this but he was reluctant to do so.
