What to expect
Yongin Korean Folk Village is a place where you can directly experience traditional culture and folk culture. Inside the Korean Folk Village, traditional houses, rural culture, folk crafts, crops and vegetables, and traditional art are displayed. In addition, you can try on traditional hanbok yourself, and various experience programs such as traditional etiquette experience, agriculture experience, and traditional craft experience are provided. The location of the Korean historical drama that came out on Netflix. On a lucky day, you can also meet famous actors who are filming. If there are nobles’ castles in Europe, Korea has a 99-room hanok where nobles live. In particular, you can enjoy the cherry blossom scenery in spring in Korea. Let’s go to the representative filming locations of K-traditional dramas (historical dramas)!

The Village itself is a great visit … highly recommended. Very cultural and set up well and there is a great dance exhibition at 2pm .The pick up and top off seamless and great. They dropped us off in a great area to explore. The guide was lovely but the biggest downfall is the tour time we arrived saw the dance , we were rushed to see the village about 30 min stay and then we were told we needed to leave didn’t see 60% of the place . We were then shuttled to some gem stone shop back in town which none of us were interested in. So that spoilt the trip making it not value for money. So not sure how to rate great experience as village is great but not the logistics of this tour. Great guide friendly knowledgable but logistics of it spoilt it for me driving 2 hour return trip for 30 min tour ??
A beautiful recreation of a Joseon village in a scenic setting. Attention to detail with house designs from different regions & depicting lifestyle & traditional tools used. One hanok house is authentic. It has been de-constructed & re-assembled from another location. Very nice live entertainment from that period. Delicious lunch. Highly recommended for a relaxed & leisurely day. Good tour guide too.
The folk village is worth a look but the tour guide needs more guidance and pay more attention to the elderly customers.
The village is vast and beautiful! A very good place to spend your day and learn about their culture.
Nothing excited in the park but still can go if have spare time
