Reviews
Reviews summaryYou wouldn’t want to miss this experience! You can’t hear clearly what the tour guide is saying but yhe whole tour itself was exciting. The Casinos are very nice to see by day but it glows more at night! The bus ride was fast and not boring. I will do the tour again with my family next time.
I used it on March 19th at 7 PM and it was great. If you're sensitive to the cold, you should bring a jacket. It would also be good to wear a mask. People seem to prefer the left side (because of the fountain), but the right side isn't bad either. If you're particular about your seat, I recommend arriving at least 40 minutes early.
It was a great tour! I really enjoyed seeing both the Macau night view and the fireworks. Here are some tips for the day of the tour: The meeting time is 10 minutes prior to departure, but you can choose your seats in order of check-in, so I recommend going early. We arrived right on time, so we ended up sitting separately from our group. Regarding seating, if you're on the 9:25 PM tour, I recommend sitting on the rear left side. You'll be crossing a bridge while watching the fireworks, but the fireworks are only launched on the left side. Also, if you sit in the front, the bus frame will obstruct the view a little.
I participated on the day I arrived in Macau. The tour goes around hotels in the Macau Peninsula and Cotai Strip. I enjoyed the beautiful night view, and the guide's explanation was easy to understand. It was very helpful because I could understand the relative locations of the hotels and the distances between them. We stopped for about 10 minutes to coincide with the fountain show at the Wynn Palace Hotel, so I was able to enjoy the fountain show at my leisure. I was glad that I could get off at either the Venetian Macau Hotel or the Galaxy Hotel on the way back. The meeting place was difficult to get to and hard to understand, so I was worried about whether I would be on time.
Enjoy a night bus tour to see the exteriors of major buildings, with the guide providing reminders to get your cameras ready as you approach each landmark. Along the way, you'll also get to see the Wynn Palace Musical Fountain and the Eiffel Tower light show, which makes it well worth it. Please do not get off the bus to watch the musical fountain, as you won't have time to get back on. The bus will depart immediately once the music stops.
I arrived 30 minutes before the meeting time, and they had already started the check-in process. I was told to line up in order of check-in, and we boarded the bus in that order, so if you want to get your favorite seat, early check-in is essential. However, the view is pretty good no matter where you sit, so it's debatable whether the right or left side is better. By the way, the bus stops on the left side for the fountain show, so the left side had a better view. Each hotel is far apart and difficult to explore on your own, so the night bus was perfect for seeing the night view all at once.
I chose the night view bus tour as the last part of my Macau trip, but I mistakenly booked the 8:30 PM time slot and couldn't get a refund. After a no-show, I boarded the 9:40 PM tour that my boyfriend booked for me. Even though it was the last tour of the day, it was almost fully booked, probably because it was a Saturday night. I was very satisfied with how I finished my Macau trip. The tour took about an hour, and the night view was so amazing that I really felt like Macau is a city of the night. I highly recommend including this in your Macau travel plans.
It was a great way to see the city at night. The lights, landmarks, and views were beautiful and relaxing. It was convenient, well-paced and perfect for enjoying Macau's night magic without walking too much.
The Macau Open Top Bus Night Tour is a simple yet unforgettable way to see the city come alive after dark. Cruising through the streets with the cool night breeze and dazzling lights all around gives Macau a completely different charm. From the glowing skyline to iconic landmarks, every stop feels picture-perfect. It’s relaxed, scenic, and effortlessly enjoyable—perfect if you want to take in the beauty of Macau without rushing. A must-try for a chill, aesthetic night experience
I used this on my first day in Macau, and I was very satisfied. It was a shame that the guide wasn't Korean, but it was nice to be able to see the main attractions of Macau's night view all at once. He explained each attraction lightly in English, which was quite informative. Since the double-decker bus is open, make sure to bring warm clothes if you go in winter.
