Don't say you love hot springs until you've been to the Mornington Peninsula Hot Springs!♨️ With over twenty different bathing experiences, you can even climb a small mountain while soaking and enjoying the scenery. The place is so vast, no place in Taiwan can compare! The original price was $1500, but I got a hot spring ticket for $1100 thanks to Klook's summer discount. What a steal! 😄 Locker rentals are an extra AU$10, and a bathrobe is an additional AU$25. It's a little inconvenient that you have to borrow a hairdryer from the front desk.
This is a stunning hot spring area where you can spend an entire day. Every spot is meticulously maintained and arranged, offering a unique view from every angle. I truly love it!
Having visited so many attractions in Melbourne, this one is the most recommended! It's truly relaxing, and the scenery is incredibly beautiful. I suggest bringing your own slippers, towel, and bathrobe (for warmth). (You can decide whether to bring your own shampoo and body wash.) That way, you'll only need to rent a locker on-site to store your belongings.
A comfortable and relaxing experience. Melbourne in September is still quite cold, so getting into the water was chilly. The park has many hot springs and cold pools of varying temperatures. The hot spring at the top of the mountain offers a great view of the entire mountain landscape, perfect for taking pictures! It's recommended to bring your own towel and slippers. A locker costs AUD 10.
When booking, the Klook page allowed us to choose a meeting point, and we selected the Queen's Theatre. However, the actual meeting point was at a different address (about a 20-minute walk away). When we called to inquire, it seemed like the tour group was unaware that we had selected this meeting point on Klook, which was very strange. However, after the call, customer service immediately notified the driver, and the driver came to pick us up promptly. The driver's service attitude was excellent. The observation deck stop was 10 minutes, and the bathing box stop was 5 minutes, purely for viewing the scenery, allowing for beautiful pictures. The Peninsula Hot Springs has dozens of hot spring pools where you can soak freely, which is very unique. The facilities are clean and well-maintained. The day trip price included admission and a towel, but everything else was at your own expense (robe rental is $15, and slippers cost $30-$50). The park is large, and you might get a little lost if it's your first time. There's also a cafe and bar inside where you can buy drinks and food. The day trip allowed us to stay there for about 4 hours. Next time, I would like to drive myself and stay longer at my leisure 😄 (about an hour and a half from the city center).
There are many hot spring pools, and the area is very spacious, so it never feels crowded. The overall experience was excellent. Although we visited in August when it was extremely cold, we rented bathrobes, so moving around wasn't particularly chilly. The hot spring water quality and temperature were consistently checked by dedicated staff, which was very professional and responsible. While the price is a bit high, I still highly recommend coming to experience it. 🤭
An amazing hot spring experience! The environment is clean and tidy, the weather is great, and the hot springs are comfortable. The food inside is delicious, even the birds and ducks are fighting over it.
