“Echizen Matsushima Aquarium” located in Sakai City, Fukui Prefecture, is the aquarium of experience type with the sea. The aquarium exhibits various creatures, about 350 types of fish mainly from the Sea of Japan, as well as penguins, otters, and seadogs. In the swimming pool that you can swim with fish, there are prepared the programs that you can interact various creatures in sea, or go out to the actual sea to observe creatures. We prepare various equipment and life jackets and warm water showers and changeroom so please feel free to come here. In the tank which is see-through area that fish are swimming, you can lie about with watching fish swimming underneath.
