However, make sure to know that you need to exit the secured area for picking up, so make sure you have enough transit time if you are only doing a connection in Taiwan (you will need to exit secured area to pick up and then re-enter secured area, but the good thing is you can check in the cakes as baggage so you don't need to handcarry if buying a lot as presents) ... Even better, if you are picking up on your way out of Taiwan, it's extra convenient because the "Pelican" pick up point is right by the check-in counters for departures! Highly recommend!! 🍍🍍🍍

Since it was a late morning flight, I thought the airport pick-up time would be too tight, so I applied for hotel delivery. What was difficult when setting up the hotel delivery address was entering the zip code. I entered the hotel zip code incorrectly and contacted customer service. Fortunately, the hotel address and hotel name were given priority for delivery, so there was no problem. The customer service center is always open, so the response was quick, which was good. When I checked in at the hotel, I told them about Penglisu and they gave it to me right away. When I checked the box, I found a paper bag with a handle and Penglisu luxuriously packaged inside. I applied for 2 boxes of 12 pieces and when I opened one and tried it, the pineapple texture was so delicious that it was moderately fluffy on the outside and chewy on the inside! This is my first time eating Chia Te Ponglisu, and it's not too sweet, great with tea, and the packaging is luxurious, so I think it would be a great gift to give to my parents! During the bus tour, the guide said that it was a luxurious refreshment where you cut the Penglisu into quarters and eat them one at a time with tea, which I understood. * Thankfully, I encountered Chia Te Ponglisu for the first time through the Klook Food Kit List event, and I intend to purchase it again. I had it picked up at the hotel ㅠㅠ I guess there was a breakdown in communication with the delivery company? The hotel said they didn't receive it, and there was no way to contact them ㅠㅜ It was so frustrating ㅠㅠ I eventually found it,,🥹 I tried it after returning to Korea and it was superb ㅎㅎ !!

This time, I ordered it together with egg rolls, and it was carefully packed in one box. It also came with a bag. The pineapple cake here is very delicious. There may be a line at the store, so I recommend using this to make the most of your time!

Very easy ordering and collection process! I ordered 10 boxes with free delivery to the airport. The day before pickup, I received an email with clear instructions. Collection was at the Pelican counter beside check-in row 12. The staff verified my passport details with the order slip before handing over the package. Everything was neatly packed in a sturdy carton box, perfect for check-in without any repacking needed. Although the pineapple cakes are easily available in 7-11 or Carrefour, I really appreciated how convenient this service was — no need to worry about fitting them into my luggage. Will definitely use this service again when I visit Taiwan next time!

The best ans easiest way to get ChiaTe without the hassle! Pickup at the airport was smooth, and the box was well packed, so you can check in easily. Packing was down well with some air bubble wrap to fill the gaps. And now yum yum yum!

ChiaTe pineapple cake which is very well known here in Taipei has the best quality so far. Highly recommended for travelers who want to bring home some Taipei’s best pastry. It was delivered on time and well packed, no more lining up long lines 👍

You can request the pineapple pastry to be sent to the airport. Of course there will be delivery charges. Pickup is at the "Pelican" counter located near the check-in counters for departures at terminal 1. Packing is good and can be checked in. Pastry is nice. Very presentable to be given as gifts.

I won the Klook event this time, so I bought Chia Te Ponglisu! There were two options: delivery to the hotel and pickup from the airport (Taoyuan), but I chose delivery to the hotel because I wanted to eat it quickly! I thought it would be delivered immediately after purchase, but when I entered the box to select the delivery date, I saw that I could select the delivery date from 3-4 days later (maybe because it's so popular...?) *Based on today's date, May 3 (delivery date) Selection is possible from May 8th) I specified the delivery date as May 3rd, but the delivery date was kept exactly and I received it at 2pm on May 3rd!! They even put chia de pungli water and a shopping bag in a sturdy cardboard box! The expiration date is about 1 month, which is shorter than I thought. Still, I felt good because it felt like I was sent a freshly made product!! Expiration date based on Penglisu delivered on May 3: Until June 3, 2024!! (It's written on the outside of the box and on the Pongrisu, so I think it would be nice to give it to each of my friends so they can taste it individually!) Of course, it would be best to give each of the 6 pieces as a gift, but since I'm a newly adult student, I don't have enough money...😂😂 Let’s leave the long story aside and start with the taste test!!! It's ugly🥲 Actually, I tried another Pongrisu when I was on a trip last time, and instead of it containing a lot of flesh, the flesh was so soft and chewy that I felt like I wanted to keep drinking the water?? But the chia de pongli water is soft!! The flesh is soft, and I like it because it doesn't have a core (personal preference). Now I understand why even locals line up at the Chia Te Ponglisu store to buy it!!! It's really delicious ㅠㅠ I know there's only one Chia Te Fenglishu store near Nanjing Sanmin Station ㅠㅠㅠ I was wondering if I should open run... but it was really nice that Klook delivered it to the hotel!! Of course, there is a shipping fee, but I thought it was similar to the transportation cost when I went there with a friend...haha. Next time, I think I'll want to have it delivered by Cool Look and pick it up at the airport, or go to the store and try other flavors!! I highly recommend it as a gift or for family. When I visited Taiwan in the past, I wanted to buy Chia Te Ponglisu, but I couldn't because it wasn't on the Dongseon Line, but it was so nice to be able to conveniently pick it up from the airport or hotel!! I picked it up at the airport and it was neatly packaged in a box and even came with a paper bag so I could give it as a gift, so it was perfect! It comes in packs of 6 or 12. I wanted to give it as a variety of gifts, so I bought it in packs of 6. It was so cute. It was the most luxurious and delicious I've ever tasted. I especially liked it because the jam wasn't too sweet and the bread was moist!! Even the elderly people really like it because it's not too sweet so it's easy to eat... I should have bought more ㅠㅠㅜ Too bad... I highly recommend it whether it's for a gift or a snack!!!
