Aonang Elephant Sanctuary Experience

This was a super trip! It just so happened that I was completely alone on the excursion. Even though I don't speak English, we were able to understand each other. I received a very warm welcome; everyone was so friendly and patiently explained everything to me using gestures. It was an amazing experience; the elephants are incredibly gentle and affectionate. First, I fed them bananas and sugarcane, then I made protein balls for them. After that, I changed clothes, and we went to roll around in the mud, all while they were taking photos and videos of me. Afterward, we went swimming. I have enough memories to last a lifetime; a dream came true! The location is also very beautiful, surrounded by greenery and mountains. The service was top-notch; everyone was wonderful and very attentive. The elephants there are happy, and that's what matters most. Thank you so much for this experience! ❤️❤️❤️

it was a great experience, I got to know a lot about elephants, from getting to know their behavior, feeding them, making their protein food and bathing them, it was really a one of a kind experience, I will surely treasure this experience, the facilities are very clean, the bathrooms are clean, refreshments and snacks are included, free photos as well, the pool that we bathed the elephants are clean and no smell, it was maintained very well, the elephants are well behaved, luckily no one was injured on our batch, I very much enjoyed the tour and experience, no other fees to be paid, I would highly recommend this!

Elephant 101 – A Half-Day Immersive Tour with the Elephants We learned how to handle and care for these gentle mammals, including feeding them and understanding their history. The most enjoyable part was feeding them, and we even got to experience how to feed an elephant that wasn’t feeling well. We also bathed them and helped with a mud spa before washing them off. Indeed, it was such a wonderful experience.

I joined the elephant sanctuary tour alone, and it was absolutely fine — the staff made me feel very welcome. We got to make protein balls for the elephants, apply mud on their bodies to protect them from insects, and then wash them off in the pond. It was truly an unforgettable experience to be this close to the elephants in such a caring environment. I was deeply moved and definitely want to come back with my family next time!

the whole experience was worth it! unfortunately it was raining really heavily during our session but the sanctuary team managed to guide us well despite the bad weather. we were instructed properly how to care the elephants and some of the elephants were so friendly!! i can say the rain helped us with the ambience when we were bathing the elephants. it was such a healing experience. the facilities there are tiptop clean ✨shower and toilets are provided. and they provided A LOT of refreshments as well. my family and i enjoyed it!

so close to the elephant lives... feeding them, mud bath and bathing with them was absolutely amazing. Guides were very informative and cooperarive. shower rooms and bathrooms were tidy. Refreshments were ok ok

My wife and I had the most amazing adventure. Being able to be up close and personal with 🐘 and learning about them is truly inspiring. The tour guide is really passionate and loving towards these majestic 🐘.

At first, I was afraid that it might be dangerous, but as time passed, I was able to feel a connection with the elephants. All the guides at the elephant shelter are kind and enjoy themselves together. The shelter staff takes pictures and sends them to me by email, so all I have to do is interact with the elephants to take pictures. It was a unique experience.

It was a warm time because I felt that everyone loves elephants. The shower room is well equipped and they give you enough snacks to keep you full. The experience of touching and interacting with elephants up close is worthwhile. Photos are also taken with a dslr camera and shared on a drive.
