I think it's easier to understand if you think of it as a tour that mainly goes to Griffith Observatory and admires the night view. On the way there and back, you can enjoy the night view of Hollywood, Los Angeles, etc., and they will also show you around various buildings along the way. This tour is recommended for those who want to go to Griffith Observatory efficiently in a short amount of time and enjoy the night view.
I joined this tour as a solo traveler. It's a tour where you ride in a bus without windows, feeling the wind as you go. I chose the tour because taxis are expensive and there's no cell service on the mountain. The 40-minute stay at the destination was enough time to take photos and see the night view. However, it wasn't enough time to wait in line for the planetarium or telescopes. I also had to rush through the exhibits. The guide's English was easy to understand, and they even pointed out locations from movies.

Observatory is free ticket, and night view is beautiful
price is reasonable. however, the tour was delayed for more than 20 minutes. the operator asked us to go 30 minutes earlier, which means 18.30 but the bus was boarding us and ready to go at 19.20. as a result, we couldn’t see sunset and face serious traffic jam. it took 1 hour and 20 minutes to get to the observatory, which was supposed to be 30 minutes on normal days. but, our guide Daren was really good and considerate.
Andrew was a great guide with immense knowledge about LA historical places from Rockstars to Moviestars..we had a wonderful experience
Excellent service. Kindness and attentiveness. The only thing missing was staff who could speak and assist in Spanish.
The tour guide's voice was constantly loud and distorted through the microphone, which gave me a headache. Also, the gift shop closed at 8 PM, and since we arrived after 8 PM, I was very disappointed that I couldn't make any purchases. However, the reception staff were pleasant, and the bus was spacious, making for a comfortable ride.
