Reviews
Thanks to our friendly and entertaining guides, LeeLee and Scott, who took us on a comfortable mini-bus and speedboat to French Island. There weren't many tourists on the island, but there were plenty of wild koalas; we saw 25 of them and enjoyed a delicious meal there. In the evening, we took the speedboat and mini-bus again to Phillip Island to watch the little penguins return home. The large number of penguins here and their close proximity make it a more worthwhile experience than other places in the world that also have little penguins. Even though it was almost midnight after watching the penguins, LeeLee safely and comfortably brought everyone back to the city, concluding a pleasant and relaxing trip.
Highly recommended! With our guide, we saw 25 wild koalas on French Island, and on Phillip Island, we saw an echidna crossing the road and little penguins coming ashore. It's worth mentioning that the afternoon snacks on French Island were delicious, and they even prepared a vegetarian meal for me, which I really appreciated!
I enjoyed the trip. It was very well-organised and everything ran on schedule. Just be sure to be at the pick-up point on time, otherwise you may get left behind.
nice views of Koalas on French Island, as well as wallabies and especially tiny penguins on Phillip Island. The section on French Island was way too long. 1-1/2 hours, instead of 3 hours would be plenty of time including lunch. Would be just fine if the whole trip started from Melbourne at 2 pm or so, instead of 12:30
Myself and my partner enjoyed it very much. The French island and Phillip islands were beautiful, Summerland was really beautiful. In future, it would be nicer to spend more time exploring French island and Summerland (at least 1.5 hours each). Finally the tour guides were very friendly, informative and straight forward, just as a suggestion they make sure they do head counts before leaving each destination.
I had a great trip. The scenery was beautiful and unforgettable.
French Island is a niche project, but it feels great. I saw a lot of wild koalas, big and small, running and crawling. The cute little penguins on Phillip Island are also a great experience. You can only experience it if you see it with your own eyes.
French Island is really beautiful. happy lunchtime in the farm.
Due to the weather our French island is being cancelled but the organizer let us know in advance and offer alternative. They are also flexible for me to upgrade my tickets. The moonlit sanctuary is awesome for us to feed and get real up close to the animals (koalas/snakes etc) with payment. The penguins turn up really cheer up our day as it is raining and we are cold and drench while waiting for it.
The most amazing thing is the French Island itinerary, which is great value for money! Experience the local isolated life, see many koalas outdoors and enjoy local lunch, it is a great experience. The Penguin Parade is also great, but it’s crowded.
