You can choose whether to experience the Takachiho Gorge boat ride. If the boat ride is included but canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, the boat fee of 2,000 JPY per person will be refunded. (Each boat can accommodate up to 3 people, and solo travelers will share a boat with other guests. Please be aware of this.)
